I decided the old f150 was getting tired, was towing a lot more, and wanted something bigger/better. Picked this 99 F250 up. 4x4, 6speed, clean title, int/exh/chip, 10" or so of lift, had 42"s that i traded for 38"s (42s beat the hell out of the fenders, have some work there), custom leather, power everything, 72k miles. Its fun, big, powerful as hell.

Have done quite a few repairs, good to have use of a full shop again; dumped steering stabilizers, dumped front sway bar, welded transverse link, welded exhaust hanger, took off two of rear shocks (broken), cleaned up, installed dvd/cd player, speed sensor, oil/fuel/air service, straightened steering.

only part you heathens care about are pics, so heres some of the first shots. for reference, f250 towing mine home has 6" lift and 35s.

exhaust is fixed now. my f150 had a 351w gas motor, the new truck is a 7.3L turbo diesel.

should get 18 just running around. ive only had one chance to check, filled it up right when i got it and drove it with 42s for a couple days, then swapped to 38s, and ran around for a week/half tank or so, filled back up having gone 250 miles and put about 15 gallons back in it. so got around 16-17 mpg's.

it drives 100% better with the steering stabalizers and sway bar removed.

pretty tight actually.

I really like Ford trucks myself. Its one of the only Ford's I would own. My only problem are the interiors.. they're ugly and too square IMO. But I would still own one. That straight piped looking exhaust looks like its is loud as balls while pouring black smoke. Turbo Diesel is the only way.

needs new tires too..

nice truck but good lawdy

42's on a stock balljoint 60.This must have been a total bro truck and 10 inches of lift? i'm gonna guess a 4" block in the rear and 2 inch shackle lift and the rest is springs? I've seen people run 48's on a 4 inch lift f-250

Damn that must of been a scene on the road when you were towing it home. You look over when your passing, Big lifted truck, look over again, another bigger badass lifted truck on a trailer behind it.

I have small pen15 envy.

Always have liked those trucks. There's a guy around here that has a lifted F250 on big tires. License plate says "ITSMALL"

I refreshed the page twice just to make sure that you actually didn't post a pic and my browser wasn't just messing up.

I expected more. I think your time away from the NICO has made you soft. Cleav shots are now required. Good luck, what with it being winter and all. :rotfl

Exactly how legal are those tires and lift? Around here, you'd be off the road in less then 20 minutes... Forcibly.

Well, for us it's more about the wheel size and the width. Anything that can throw a rock back onto a car behind you is gonna get towed or impounded.

Yeah, I know people in Irvine that get pulled over all the time so the cop can bug them about being too low, meanwhile a truck that can easily drive over a Toyota Camry is left alone.
Yay California...

Now if it was black or blue and had smoke stacks there's be a whole page of fappage. That's exactly what I want.

Any plans to go green and do the bio-diesel conversion? Get yourself a water/methanol injection kit, a propane injection kit, take the silencer ring out of the turbo and enjoy the power the that turbo whistle.

What brand of intake/exhaust/chip does it have?

[EDIT] I exceeded the smilie limit by 10.
