Hello everyone, my names David and I am here to show you all my new purchase. I bought a 1993 240sx Hatchback, she has 175k miles on her, a few small imperfections on the exterior, but I will let the pictures speak for themselvs. The hardest thing on my mind right now is deciding what to swap into this beast, I know its an automatic but I am not complaining considering I bought this car for $1000 dollars.... onto the pics!
Comments and ideas are welcome... thanks for looking

Not bad for a grand, not bad at all. As far as mods, I'd take care of basic maintenance on the engine first. Looks wise with the color of your car a xenon lip and 180sx tails would look really sharp, lowered with nice wheels of course. Pretty much square up the chassis first, it's damn near 20 years old and only then start to think about engine work because as long as it's running it's not costing you money by breaking other stuff. Once you swap a more powerful motor in there and the rest of the chassis isn't up to par you're gonna start breaking things. As far as a motor swap goes, I've recently become a big fan of 1jz swaps over SR's and RB25's. It's stronger and more reliable than either of the other two and with increased popularity has become about the same price as a good quality SR swap. Just my 2 cents.

I am totally probably going to go with either the Supra 1jz or 2jz or a V8 LS2. Personally I am not a huge fan of putting a V8 motor into an import, despite the tourque they can give, but honestly I am more than likely going the Supra motor route in the swap.
I am totally focused on repairig the body and the suspension first, give it a new paintjob and do the work from head to toe, maybe even beef up the interior too. Then some nice wheels and tires with a coilover set up, and then the motor swap comes next. Overall I am happy and I cant wait to get it rolling =)
