I like it, I think it's an awesome game and the story is based on truth which makes it equal even more win. I think anyone that hates on it is a COD fanboi. The MP side is slightly broken, but I think that that is because they took a proven formula from the Battlefield series and tried adding elements from the Modern Warfare gameplay into it which really doesn't work very well. The score chains are pretty difficult to get especially for rookies who don't really have anything unlocked yet and without the destructible environments the maps don't work as well as they probably should. It's also pretty difficult to level up unless you're in a 6 vs 6 game. 12 on 12 is a lot of people on some of the maps and you can't help but die unless you either use real world movement to contact tactics and utilize other players as a squad for cover fire. The run and gun method just gets you killed which is where the battlefield gameplay comes into play, but the overall feel gives it the rushed gaming that promotes camping and run and gun tactics which is where the Modern Warfare mechanics come in. Either way, once the servers are updated and the game lobbies lose the haters and gain the clans then we'll start seeing some serious gaming going on. Right now it's a little laggy, and all people do is die unless they are ranked up high enough to have the unlocks opened.

I like it and besides the lag issues today, I haven't had any problems with the game at all.

I'm loving MP. Single player wasn't bad. Worst part is finding a team that can support you. It seems like, especially in Combat Mission, one team is either rocking or getting rocked. Hard to find a decent balance.
I'll happily tip the scales, but I don't like to be struggling because my teammates can't aim and/or hold a battle line.

Battle rifles ftw.

Had a ton of fun a couple nights ago... 39-4 KDR and I had the binoculars up to call a cruise missile as the match ended.

Kunar Base is my town.

I played the beta...and it felt like a crappier MW2, if that's even possible.

I tried going back to MW2, and that sucked. MOH is the better game. The original CoD and its expansion were refreshing shifts from other first person shooters, like Goldeneye. You didn't just run and gun. Modern Warfare changed that; there was a lot more running and gunning, I think because they changed the run speed itself. In the original Call of Duty, you were somewhat forced to plod along through wide open stretches of land, going from cover to cover as much as you could.

In the newer one, there's so much running around (except for hardcore mode) that it's not much different than playing HALO. Though the run speed is still high in CoD's hardcore mode (and in MoH), the reduced hitpoints (or increased bullet damage, however you choose to look at it) require you to think about what you're going to do next. You have to plan out your route. You have to choose your cover. You have to memorize the map, not just to know the different routes of attack, but to know where your weaknesses are.

Medal of Honor hardcore mode isn't the same as Call of Duty hardcore mode. Normal MoH is a lot like COD hardcore. MoH hardcore just gives you the added challenge of friendly fire and no hud. I suppose if you're looking for a game like HALO, CoD and MoH would both be steps in the wrong direction.
