Nissans awesome FM chasis.. Zero lift, lightweight suspension componentry.. rigid chasis

VK45DE engine

Will have the nicest interior Nissan has ever put on a car sold in the U.S.. probably the nicest interior of any car it is competing against...

Can't wait... I like the current M, but the interior while looking good, could use some nicer materials... The new M interior is simply gorgeous, and the components look to be top notch.

I'm glad we finally get a V8 in the FM.. I should say besides the FX.. nice to see it in a car...

Also brings back the curved dash of the original G50.. They appear to be going all out on this, like they did with the G50.

I'm psyched.. If only we could get an AWD 6 speed manual V8 M45, that would be unreal.

Thats a good point.....

The 1st gen M45 (03) will be the most desired of them, because it was the old bodystyle and the rarest...

I want one, but if I got one I would have to keep the Q... I wish they would go away from the pod in the middle and go to a clean stacked design like the G35 or new caddy STS.....

Nobody likes the current M45. The new M45 will have the nicest interior of any Infiniti, and probably any car in it's class. It is Infinitis flagship. Bluetooth, newest nav, intelligent key, 19 inch wheels, active rear sway bars.. FM chasis. VK engine.. Nissan/Infiniti is rolling out everything they have for this car...

The old M was nice, but this is on a whole different level.

I wish they would tweak the V8 for a little more hp.. With them squeezing out another 15+ hp for the G35 sport, the VQ will have nearly 300 hp... The V8 should get a bump as well.

Like the G50 it will go down as a so-so seller at best. Hopefully the new M45 will return legitimacy to Infiniti as a seller of the finest luxury/performance cars available.

The M45 is a very nice car, indeed.. Just didn't click with the public, much like the G50.

Yup, the new M45 is so nice that one of my friend who's not a nissan/infiniti fanatic told me "Did you see the new M45? it's an awsome car!" and so on.We have never seen the rear one yet but from the pics I see on the net, it seems to me that the current M45 looks more bigger and has that flagship image.New M45 is totally different animal.

it's an amazing car, I'm not sure if I would even call it an "M45"

You're not the only one, and for good reason...

The Q45 interior espically dash layout was so radical considering it was designed in the 80s and came out in 1990... Even in 1996 it still looked modern, the curved dash looked better in 96 then nearly anything out...

That's why I'm glad they went back to the curved dash for the M45.. Also they got rid of the HUMP.. It's smooth across the whole dash.. I'm in love

I agree with Wes. I want to add one more thing. I seriously doubt that any Infiniti we will see again will have the same quality of fit and finish that the G50 has. I rode in and drove my friend's G35 Sedan yesterday and I am sad to say that I was disappointed in the quality of fit and finish. This goes for the new M/Q too.

I think this car will set standards... Look at the stiching on the leather.. Look at all the real brushed aluminum.. Look at the speakers next to the headrests...

This is the most important car Infiniti has ever launched. The G35 brought legitimacy and sales back to Infiniti, but it further punched the image of entry level luxury in the brand..

This is Infinitis Flagship. 60,000 loaded with every feature imaginable on a car.

Give love gentlemen. This will be the benchmark for which the new Q will be based on. This is the most important Infiniti to come out since the G50. This can legitmize their reentry into the luxury/performance category, which they so desperately need to get into...

If this car sells, people will accept Infiniti as a premier luxury brand.

Fine by me. I'm tired of people thinking our brand isn't up to the standards of Lexus... If it means I won't be able to buy one because of mass depreciation, so be it.

This is Infinitis welcome back car... The cost cutting is done... Sales are up.. Next Gen chasis, features, engine...

Carlos G won't lead us wrong... The current M/Q are good cars, as all infinitis are.. but the cost cutting was obvious.. It ends here.

I may be the only one on this forum, but I love the "new" dashboard of the the current Qs. It's futuristic and looks like no other interior...everything on top and just one clean CD stack in the center. Traditional center stacks look too busy and boring...the current Q-look is awesome inside out.

You're not the only one. It is the best designed and most functional stack out there. Much superior to the German ones. Only new Acura and Audi comes close.

Agreed. It's look a little busy from a picture standpoint.. When you actually sit in the car, it is nicely functional and ergo..
