What's up everyone? I am new to the group...A lover and driver of a 1990 240SX...Recently garage kept cause some ******* ran a red light and side swipped me with a big *** van...I wanted to kill the guy but I obviously didn't cause I'm here joining this group and not in jail...But my baby will be going to the shop to get repaired and a complete new paint job...I was thinkin of repainting it the new 350Z Rust color...What do you think? Give me some feedback...Maybe you guys can help me make a decision before she goes under the knife:help Hope to hear from you all soon...Thanks...~240 4 Life~

I sorry to hear about the wreck but the color you are chosing I think is pimp i love the burnt copper color cars and plan at one point painting either my s14 or my 280z that color

yeah 240marcuSX...that's the color i'm talkin about...the side swipe took out the passenger side door all the way back to the rear panel...the bulk of the damage is in between the door and the rear wheel...i will post pictures once i get the heart to take some...

Sup Guys...I pulled my car out of the garage today and gave it an oil change...While I did that, I took of few pictures of her...Here's what the damage looks like from the side swipe...I found out my ****in gas tank is jammed shut now...Good thing I filled up that friday before the accident...~240 4 Life~

Thanx guys...I'm sure you all feel my pain...I'm actually going next saturday to a body shop that a neighbors friend owns and runs to get an estimate...Hopefully, he'll give me a good price...I've seen some work that he is done and I'm pretty confident that he will do a great job on my baby...I'll let you all know how much when I get the estimate...F.Y.I...My accident wasn't a hit n' run...The ****in guy who hit me ran a red light but I got his ***...He wasn't runnin no where...~240 4 Life~

Well it looks like the verdict is in from the body shop...I got the estimate today and the guy looked at my car and the first thing he said was, "Do you actually wanna pay that much to get it fixed?" He said that my car is Totaled...So I guess I'm ****ed...

Hey man sorry to hear about that, i agree with everyone, the Copper color would look badass on a 240, and so does a metallic silver, i prefer black but those other two colors are hot.

Man, unless you got some MAAAAAD blind love for your car, I'd total it and part out if your insurance company lets you. If it's not your fault, cash in on the guy's mistake.

Hey Guys...The insurance company for the guy that hit me estimated my car as a total loss...They valued it at about $2500 and the salvage is $150...So they are gonna send me a check for somewhere close to $2400 bucks...My boss from work took me to see this buddy of his that happens to own a body shop and does pretty nice work...He said $2000 to fix my car, the rust in my hatchback, put on my Erebuni GTR Style Spoiler (recently purchased from DJKapone1, Thanks Man!!!), and paint my whole car...I decided to keep it the original color for now...I just need some nice rims now...Any suggestions on rim choice? I'll post picks of my car once all the work is done...I'm so excited, can't wait to have her back...

Yea, i remember you posting just after the accident a little while back, that guy is a prick, and yes i would get the 350z rust color, ive seen it on a few other 240sx's before, and INMHO it looks Spectacular. Go for it. If you get another 240, or what not sinse the company decided its trash get it, it looks good
