The G20 is FWD.

I still like it quite a bit.COmforatble, great handling, even tho it's FWD, they are some of the most reliable cars sold by Nissan/Infinti and since 2k2 is their last year, they can be had for 20% off.And still carry the full and lengthy Infinti warranty.

yea i posted a thread about the new G35 coupes a week or so ago. i would rather have the G35 coupe than a 350Z. they are basically the same thing, but a little diff. body, etc etc. i like the doorhandles on the G35 better for one thing :pface

The guy who lives across the street from me took a sledge hammer to his G20 because he wanted a new car and his parents wouldn't buy it for him. It was sickening.

Those new 350zs look nice, but the G35 coupe looks really good too. It'd be a toss up between the two. I've seen a few of the G35 sedans, and they look good, but that back is different, kinda strange looking. And do they still make the G20? i was looking on the Infinit website and they didnt have it listed

G20 is no more. Which is actually okay, it needed a serious overhaul or replacement anyway.

what a ****. he needs to be shot in the face. if his parents ended up buying him a new car after he did that, they need to be shot as well. how could someone do that to such an awesome car. stupid fag

The G20 seems slow to me....I mean extremely slow. I was in my friend's 01 G20 and we saw this chick in a Tercel. We start messing wid her and raced her from a red light. The outcome was total embarassment. My god....lost to a Tercel? I just slid down on the passenger seat then hid my face. BTW how much horsepower does the G20 come with any ways?

With a manual teh G20's could be very fun, and the handling was really good despite being FWD.

I think they have 145 hp.Last year of production was for 2k2.There are still a couple to be found.

Very comprehensively equipped elegant comfortable car.

Great seats, I know many of you are still too young to appreciate great seats but they not only held you well but supported the back real well too.

I don't think the G20 is meant for performance......its meant to be a Pimp Mobile...girl love these cars. You can do it anyway in the car not like our 240

The G20 come with a SR20DE right? That means the G20t comes with an SR20DET. I know it's the fwd version, but maybe this means that one day us Ca people will be able to do the SR swap legaly. I know the G20 is fwd, but it's a start.

The G20 and G20t came with the same engine (SR20DE).In Infiniti parlance "t" at the end of the cars nomenclature doesn't stand for turbo but for touring.

A touring model generally stands for thicker anti sway bars, stiffer shock/springs, factory fitment of performance tires rather than all season and a couple of minor things (chrome is blacked out and such).

Speaking of the G series and turbo, word is that in 2 or 3 years the G35 Coupe will be offered with its VQ engine, twin turbocharged, ie a VQ35TT.This will parrallel a simliar jump planned of the Z performance. However both won't be cheap..

Word is that for a while Infiniti was toying with the idea of offering the G20t as a turboed car, even some turboed G's were supposed to have run in Japan.

In the end the idea was dropped cuz the G35 was getting so close to production anyway, an it wouldn't have been worth it for Infinti to offer the G20 as a turbo, if it had only been for one model year or so.

the G20 was turbo'd in most places beside here. In Europe it was the Primera, which had the SR20det. It was a pretty succesful touring car.

What was it called in Japan? Wasn't it AWD turbo?

wow i didnt expect all these posts...anyway i was pretty disapointed that the G20t wasnt turbo. I thought it was kinda wierd that i didnt hear a turbo spooling up when i took it out. still, it wouldnt be AS MUCH money to import the silvia transmission to get the sr in a 240, would it? I really like the rpm range...
