ok so im going to pick up a friend tonight. shoulda been there at 10:30, its 10:45 and im not even half way there, so im kinda in a hurry. speed limit is 40, im going 45 and approaching this killer intersection. seriously, you'll be stuck at this intersection for 20 minutes if you dont make the light. well as i approach, the light turns yellow and i step on the gas to make the light. well i didnt even notice some guy in a golf right beside me. he hits the gas and really takes off. im already goin 50+ and hes just flyin away. well luckily i made the light and my turn is coming up so i slow down and slide into the left lane and the dikhole in the golf cuts me off then flashes his hazards!! so we get to the next light, im waiting to turn left and hes going straight on, so we're side by side. my windows were down so he rolls his down and says: hey man, nice race.. but better luck next time.

it took all my strength not to get out right then and slap the stupid right out of him.. i still remember that idiotic grin he had on his face... damn i was irritated... anyway, just venting

That is really sad that people are like that.. but it's fitting he was in a VW. Sounds very much like the typical VW ricky-racer moron...

Next time some guy tries to talk to your or get your attention, ignore him and start rolling up your windows when you think he's gonna talk. When a guy has to let you know that he just raced you and won, yep, that's a VW guy.

drifter sx, the <exact> same VW owner attitude can be found here. They're everywhere, like germs and insects, and other annoying useless things. I see a lot of these guys come into the shop, and seriously, they are ALL THE SAME! Clones! They want the same ugly wheels, they talk the same, they walk and act with the same mannerisms, they drive with the same awkward, "my car really wasn't meant to do this" style. The worst part is, they all think that a fwd VW economy car is the epitome of import performance.

If heavy, slow, and poor build quality is the standard, VW is a proven winner, and so are their owners!

Ya I get this a lot too stopped at a light or just driving. Apparently if I'm sitting in my car not doing anything listening to music that means I'm ready and willing to race. Light turns green and "there off!" ... or "he's off" I should say. It's funny watching people do that and look retarded when they slow down and realize they just wasted their brain power concentrating for a good reaction time to the green light. :oface

i raced a buddy of mine once, he has a pretty fast car. I talked a bunch of smack and he started laughing at me but got ready, the light went green I dumped the clutch got a foot ahead of him and nailed the four ways. He was like WTF?
