It's amazing how everything has turned around! I can remember how anticipated the 2002 Q45 was, and how much most of us bashed the M45 as an 97-01Q with a Camry tail and new nose...

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'd buy an 02 or 03Q if I had the spare cash sitting around...

Won't happen. I'll tell you why:

Dealers will give you one of 2 prices, neither of which does you any good. One is a lowball, which they will either deny they quoted OR the ONE car for that price will be long gone. The other is a "conservative" price, which may or may not be what you'll pay once all is said and done (based on credit, term, cash down and trade).

In a month like this, you'd be well-suited to buy, since it's been the worst October in 12 years for car sales.

If I won one of those huge powerballs I would buy them all and raffle them all off ( for free) among the actrve NICO members.

I agree. I would love to get my paws on a 02 or 03 Q45. Of course, that won't happen any time soon.

Saving $$$ to buy a larger home in the future.

Don't we all. However, I love my wife and she wants a bigger house.

Of course she also lets me spend $$ on all my toys. :)

My gf was happy to settle for exactly that--2BR house with a 4 car garage. I think she likes hearing me giggle everytime I walk in there. (I really do). But we're working toward the bigger house...she's already finished the rough-frame design for one that fits on the same lot. Maybe in 10 years or so we'll do a complete tear-down and rebuild.

Guess I should have picked that up when I saw the name of that smiley was "drool" instead of "barf!" At this point I've put too much $$ in "Q2" to even look at other cars, much less buy one... at least and be justified.

That's exactly what I have (well, the garage isn't BIG) .. it's just me and the wife (no kids yet), so we have a pretty modest 3 BR townhouse, and just a ONE car garage .. for the M, of course .. the wife's car stays on the driveway !!!

She was a little leery of me getting such an expensive car, but cars are really the ONLY vice I have !!! So, I just said 'WHAT THE #&$^' and went for it !!!

I only have a 1 car garage at my condo, but my Dad has a 2 car garage attached to the house and then behind it has a garage taht was built for 2 FULL SIZE RV's that he converted into a normal garage with 2 bays. If he only didn't live in South GA :(.

Did I mention the tools, he's got years and years worth of tools. He's been in the car business FOREVER.

I think Q45 members (poor teenage Q45 members at that...... :D :D :naughty: ) should get first dibs on the Qs.....

Id go for the Q over the M any day..... Its got all the buttons, switches, and features I could ever want....... Plus, I am the type of guy that wants to have the FLAGSHIP, and the Q has been, and probably always will be, the flagship of the infiniti lineup.........
