I hate to embarass myself, but, what is necessary to remove my blinkers, I just got clear corners for my Kouki and I don't see any obvious way to remove the lights.. I know there's probably some incredibly simple removal tactic that I just didn't use.

Do you mean the turn blinkers located on the side? Or the ones integrated with the headlamp units?

If it's the ones on the side, on my S13 a hunk of road debris took it right off, but it just clipped back in. I don't know if that helps, or if we are talking about the same blinker, but maybe it's a clue.

Talking about the turn blinkers located on the side.On another note, I got these PIAA "white" bulbs for my corner lamps, and they're the blue white.. My headlights are just plain white.. Does PIAA make blue-white headlights?

To remove the corner lights on a zenki, you pop the hood, look down at the top of the headlight, and you'll find a single screw holding the corner light onto the headlight. Unscrew that, and the corner light slides out to the side.

I assume the kouki is similar...

OK since we all seem to be a bit confused I will break it all down.

1. The blinkers are the ones in the front of the car! To remove these there is usually one screw, take it out and the lense assy slides out the front.

2. There are 2 sets of parking lamps. The ones mounted next to the headlamps and the ones on the side of the bumper.

2a. To remove the ones on the side of the bumper ( I did this when I switched to clear lenses) you need to crank the wheel all the way left (preferably take the wheel off) and move the plastic wheel well guard away from the bumper. Then you can look inside and see the socket and nuts that hold the lense in. The socket is a quarter turn counter clockwise and it pulls out. Then you remove the nuts and the lense will come out of the bumper.

2b. To remove the lenses or bulbs next to the headlamps refer to previous post on this thread by (IwannaS15)

That's it! I'll try it out, see if I can avoid removing my Nyunguken (or however you spell it)7-sided lug nuts + lug nut key.. hehe

I can't remember what size, try 8mm or 10mm but I think you might need a deep well socket. Plus they might be siezed from rust so spray a little WD-40 and let'em sit for a minute.

No muriatic acid? Well, I'll at least try PB Blaster I'll see if a deep socket 8mm will work.. shouldn't be a problem.. I hope..
