well i started out with 4 grand cash, and went through that in about 2 weeks. sad but true. ive done everything myself, and its lots of buying tools and trips to the auto parts store. you can save money doing it yourself, but then also it can get expensive going that route. if you get a perfectly working 240 to start off with, it will save you alot. my car was only 300 but it was only a rolling chassis. no front body, no engine, or anything in the engine compartment. its expensive to rebuild it from that. some things are cheap, some things are not. its funny to think the car costed me 300 bucks and to get a new master cylinder installed costs 286 bucks. one little part is almost what i paid for the whole chassis. moral of the story, have lots of money saved up, and be prepared to dish out money for the strangest things.

HeavyThrottle is a A+ shop.. Call them and tell them what you are trying to do and they will tell you what it will cost....

You may finder cheaper prices but it usually is cheaper quality..

From my experience I think that they offer the best VALUE.
