The difference between you and Maxnix is that Maxnix inspires some. You don't inspire, Your just cruel. Yes I remember reading those heated debates about flushing the transmission.qship96 wrote:Make sure that big hunk of wood cup holder is bolted down so it dont clobber you in the head if you get in an accident!
As a Safety Engineer I was concerned about this when I did the hazard analysis prior to making the cupholders. Since your scenario had the highest likelyhood of occuring I put a label on the side that states:qship96 wrote:.....Make sure that big hunk of wood cup holder is bolted down so it dont clobber you in the head if you get in an accident!
Now this sounds a little more plausible than my lowly cupholder flying through the air and bopping me in the head. In real life, bulky or sharp-cornered items (schoolbooks, little dogs with sharp claws) sliding off the rear deck are the cause of many rear seat passenger injuries in an panic stop.qship96 wrote:.....I once got clobbered in the noggin in highschool by an over anxious friend that wired up a pair of 6x9 speakers on the rear deck before he actually affixed them into the rear deck!!!
This has the smell of urban legend. I'd check snopes.com but I'm certain that there are no "typewriter" threads old man.maxnix wrote:Had a friend who knew a guy who sold typewriters for a living.
As an aside your the" youts" in the audience, a typewriter is a device for maually imprinting characters on paper, kind oflike a printer without the computer.
Anyway, he had one on the rear parcel shelf, and made a sudden stop. Broke his neck. End of his story.
