It is now time that I start. I can't wait any longer. I am starting small and will branch to larger junks when the time and money are available. I am starting with the JWT Popcharger, Z-Tube, 7-wire grounding and a spoiler (either Impul or Gialla Corsa, I haven't decided yet, I am leaning towards the Impul, but I have seen that there is a knock off which is much cheaper, so I have to check that out). I hope that I will be able to get all of this done in time for the March 20th meet. It shouldn't be a problem as long as I don't have to do much more traveling for work. I would like to go ahead and get an exhaust and headers and all of that other fun stuff, but I just don't have the time or funds right now for it. I can do the jwt popcharger, z-tube and 7-wire kit myself for about $300 it looks like. Should be money well spent.

Well, there it is. The time has come. Who knows when I will stop. Maybe with a super charger in a couple years.

Well, I just made my order for the Popcharger, Z-tube and grounding kit. I should have my parts sometime next week and start installing next weekend hopefully. Woo-Hoo. I'm ready.

I just want to thank Joe for all his help. He is a stand up person to work with. I highly recomend giving him a call if you need anything and deffinetly check out the website (http://www.everythingnissan.com), it is very nice.

I'll keep you all updated.

Cool stuff. I think you'll like the result. Of course, since I did the Borla + JWT all at once, it's hard for me to say what is related to what. Still, it's a blast! :)

I'll bring a set of headers to the meet so you can drool on them.

Then I'll put 'em back in the box and leave. :)

That's real nice there Hitman. Thanks. You know eventually I will be giving you a call to hook me up with the headers and the exhaust.

Headers for your car will make you wonder why you call the rest of your mod list, 'mods.' BTW, what is a Z tube?

Yeah, I know. I'm just adding a few bolt ons. Headers would be nice, but I'm just going to start out slow and easy and then work my way up to headers and exhaust. Plus, I don't really have the necessary resources for headers right now.

The Z-tube replaces the factory tube between the Throttle Body and maf sensor. The stock tube has sound baffles and other features that the Z-tube does not have. The Z-tube will also increase induction noise under WOT.

I haven't done anything yet. I am taking it to a detailer to see if they think they can do something with it, and if not then I am going to go to a body shop and see what they can do. While I am at it, I am going to see if they can take care of the rock chips that I have on the hood.

Well, let me see how things go this spring. I have to make sure that I have the cash too. I have quite a bit of lumber to build the deck on my house and then I have to buy all the landscaping materials. So, my funds are limited. But, if I have enough money left over, it's going into the car in the form of headers and/or exhaust. I'll be giving you a call Wes, when the time comes.

Ryan,I am sure that Wes, Andy and I can help you install the header safely and correct. You can always crash our Subaru Install Days and have access to any tool you could ever need at Dale's house. I would put money on this, that installing a header on a G35 is easier than installing an up-pipe in a WRX. Dont let fear from the install keep you from doing this mod. We and the Subaru club are here for you.

I certainly have enough experience working in tight spaces.... A wide V8 wasnt meant to be in that engine bay!!! THe back of my hands can attest to this!!!!

When he referred to "resources," I assumed he mean't funds, money, etc.... What did you think AZ?

I meant all of the above. Mostly money right now. I got a few projects I need to take care of at home before I spend too much money on headers and exhaust. But, I also don't have a whole lot of space in my garage or the necessary tools to do much more than easy bolts on.

As long as you have the exhaust parts and half an afternoon, you can join the Subaru guys on the next install days (we have one about ever other week in spring-summer-fall). Nice thing about the install days, the labor of the installation doesnt cost you a dime.

I'll keep that in mind when the money comes rolling in. I have to be able to afford the exhaust and headers first.
