Sorry guys but i wont be posting as much , My dell at home wont let me type into microsoft exlorer or outlook , if i do it closes the window out and sends a report to micrsoft . i can look at the forums but i cant post .

How do i fix this ?

heres two possible causes

i talked to tech support about a rash of stranage emails ive been getting , they say they have a huge problem because of a lurva 32 virus , i havent opend these emails up , but i do have a preview window so maybe i got a vrius from there . at any rate i get around 55-70 strange emails in my outlook box every day for the past 3 days , can i get a virus thru a preview window?

also mircosoft update downloaded new updates last night and installed them , this is a nromal thing but after i restared and tried to post to brini in another thread i got my first expoere falure while attemtpting to type into the reply box , also happens when i type into yahoos search engine box , windows picks up a error and then offres to send a report on it to microsoft about it while closeing the program

outlook wont let me type into it either , go to create message try to type soething in and windows detcts errors and then offres to send a report on it to microsoft about it while closeing the program

i downloaded macaffe virscans newest update/def files before doing the mircosoft thing but after finding out about the virus on my providers servers , did a scan of all drives to no avail

at any rate i can see what you all post here , just cant respond till i can get to my work computer ...

NICE RANT! Perhaps you can get a free fix from cnet and download it from a safe computer. Now, you know that all the trekie-arsed basturds creating these viruses work for the anti-virus companies, right? Talk about increasing demand for your own services and job security! Like a dishonest machanic even, breaking something everytime he fixes something else, just to make sure you keep coming back!

Unistall them both and then reinstall. Make sure you download another browser first like netscape so you can go out and get IE again.

ahhh im back , the mighty dell has survived another terroist attack from nerd-queida .....it is flipping off the calculator jockeys as we speak

reinstalled the antivirus stuff and updates , appently it downloaded another while i was at work , the dell was sick and fixed itself , after a reboot it is running just fine

LMAO hmmm....my computer will quit programs and I'll get error and explorer dies, or webtrap dies, or some stupid $hit pops up and says its closing out. Which I get angry at it, try fixing and email and have to redo the thing like 3x before its ever sent. :pface
