Yeah I was hit saturday night by a jeep I was waiting to turn then bam. I was hit at about 5mph and almost pushed into traffic. The guy told me to pull in the parking lot. He tried to take off the other direction, I pulled a U-turn and got his plate number. Looks to be just over a 1000 in damages. Bumper a little disfigured and paint spidered, trunk dented in a little, bumper supports bent. Still trying to get ahold of his insurance company.

So who's up for Indy on April 17/18? The track is actually about 45 minutes west of Indy, near Putnamville.

Chris, where are you staying? And are you Advanced class yet?

The driving event is both days, but the NICO part may just be Saturday and Saturday night. Of course, everyone is welcome to hang out as long as they like.

Sorry for the delay. The event gets started Saturday, April 17 at about 9 in the morning at Putnam Park. It will last all day and then we'll have time to do whatever Saturday night. I think Cold_Zero was going to put together a cookout that afternoon and have a low-key hangout where everyone can just relax and talk and watch me and Mayhem hand these ****s their M badges on a racetrack.

The meet last fall at Ft. Harrison state park was popular and we're trying to capture the same atmosphere at this one, albeit with a cool side show. ;)

I'll start an official thread on it soon.

Simma Dann Naa!

We'll get something going. I think we need the Cincy people to take the lead on this on where and when since it is their area. I don't know where anything is or what there is to do down there.

There is going to be some sort of a meet, no track time or dyno or anything like that on Saturday June 19th. This is the weekend for the USGP at Indy. There are going to be several people from g35driver coming down to go to the race on Sunday. Practice and Quals are Saturday and then saturday night we were thinking of maybe a cruise and then heading out to the Rathskellar for drinks. For those who have never been to Indy during F1 it is quite an event. The Porsche club, Ferrari club and plenty of other car clubs have huge turnouts during the week of the race. It is always nice to just spend Friday or Saturday cruising around town and checking out all the different spots where the different clubs are meeting.

I will keep you all updated on what's going on with the planning for the event. If anyone else has suggestions for the meet, please let me know.

If nobody from cinci wants to take the lead I'm up for a Indy meet. Maybe another autocross/meet.

I’m more than willing to help take the lead for Cincinnati group but I’m gonna need some help from some of the local guys. What would be fun to do that is unique to Cincinnati? Either a local festival or ??? I know Cincinnati isn’t that exciting but I'm sure we could come up with something. I have a few ideas going in my head... we could go to Edgewater for a Friday night test and tune, or just do a local Cook-Out day... I’m not active local auto-x but I can ask around and find out when the next auto-x day is if people are interested doing it. I believe they are generally on Sundays. I don’t know if anyone is much of a Reds fan but maybe a day at the ballpark could be fun. I haven’t been to the new stadium yet. Those are some ideas to get things started... Or if we want to do another Indy thing that is also fine with me. The F1 stuff sounds like fun... I’m up for going. :)
