Once Barak Obama forgave Reid for the comment(s) this topic should’ve been dead, but we have a certain group of people not will to accept the presidents own apology. Some people need to get a life and stop stirring the pot.szhosain wrote:... and easily: http://www.mercurynews.com/ci_...iewed.
If it had been a Republican saying what Reid said, the story would not end here ... so far buried away!

Hypocrisy is the same people who follow your logic above while they are roasting those they don't like for the same thing.UpStar wrote:

Is Obama the only black guy in this nation?UpStar wrote:

I see where you are going with this one, so I'll answer you by saying that Barak was the only guy that Reid was referring to in his notes. Not all african american were offended or felt that Reid was directing his comments to them, so with that being said………. Yes, Barak was the only "black guy" in the nation that the comment was directed to.dusred wrote:

Just the same way the media and Dems stir the pot when the person making a gaffe is Republican? If it had been a prominent Republican saying what Reid said, Sharpton and jackson (even as little as they matter) would be holding press conferences and making sound bite speeches (reported heavily by the media) for days afterwards!UpStar wrote:Once Barak Obama forgave Reid for the comment(s) this topic should’ve been dead, but we have a certain group of people not will to accept the presidents own apology. You were amazingly prescient!
How can you tell if a black man is African American (see, they should be capitalized)? Do you just lump them all in? What if they are from Jamaica or some other area where black men are from? Do you think calling a non-African a African is right or wrong?UpStar wrote:Not all african american .......
I guess it goes both ways, but Im all about the forgive and forget.szhosain wrote:

It is the double standard that I object to. Strongly.
