The M is Reborn! Sorta...

I remember seeing the concept version of this car a year or so ago, and immediately thought "wow, that looks a LOT like a newer version of the Y34 M45." Well, they released the production photos today, and it's remarkable how much this car resembles a mix between the new and old M45. The interior is almost a DIRECT copy of the 03-04 M's... even the big "Pizza" stack in the middle. Very weird... but amazingly nice considering who is making the car...

I think that looks nothing like the Y34. I think you meant the Y50.

They have about 10 years still before anything respected comes out.

After living in Korea for 2 years. I learn to give Hyundai their just due. Its hard being the new kid on the block. The cars they produced their stay in Korea are exquisite. I almost bought a top of the line Alera when I got back just based on the version I rode in many of times there.

Not thrilled about the grill on this, but I'll definitely go take a look.

I think he is referring to the interior primarily and if you look at the vents, the cd player and the way the center stack is styled, it is VERY reminiscent of the 03/04 model.

Yes, I was talking about the interior. The exterior seems to take queues from almost every lux sedan out there... even the belt-line crease on the F50 M45. The motor sounds interesting though... I honestly will probably test drive one of these... just to make sure they didn't accidentally get it right.
