the long and short filters both fit

today I asked for a oil filter for my Pathfinder Le 2003 the parts guy gives me the long filter , the last guy gave me a short filter and said they'dont make log filters any more ,yet I still see them on parts site , so what gives here use the long or the short filter.

pn short filter =15208-65FOE
