there is a sonic down the street that is pretty new, i was thinking since no one really goes there on friday night to show off their cars, i would start my own car club and go down there friday nights...good idea no?

You should call the new car club quit making pointless posts.

As long as you don't park in their "stalls" they shouldn't have a problem with you.

Talk to the manager and get approval before you just show up.

we do it here, not really a "club" tho just people getting together at sonic. we do park in the stalls and they dont mind too much if some people by drinks or something. but yes do talk to the manager first to see what he/she says. good idea, i just dont like "clubs". to me clubs initiate clicks and all car people should be able to get a long, plus i dont like stickers on my car (besides nico) =)

Hey, I live in AZ and unless you are in Phoenix or Tucson... there isn't much out here either!

Although we do have a sonic.

All right I'll just dig around... that's a 240Z right? I'm horrible with naming older Nissans.

You are probably not as bad as I am. It seems like everything on 4 wheels looks like a nissan to me!

Once I get home I can send it to you if you have not found it yet.

Sonics are a drive-thru with stalls were you can park your car fast food place. They try to mimic the 50's fast food culture a bit

Awesome menu, breakfast burritos : and awesome shakes like strawberry shortcake shake..:

Waitresses are usllay attractive (sometimes very) but service tends to be slow.

Fred..

A bunch of teenagers always meet up at the Burgermaster right by my house in the states on friday nights.

But I'm not one for car clubs, I think they are kinda dumb.

We're actually having a local 240 meet not far from where you live this Friday night.

And graphix, the Nissan scene here is actually pretty strong - 35 240's at the last "Sonic" meet (which was actually held at Carl's Jr.).

Feel free to email me for details, it'd be good to meet you both.

HAHA!

I feel like fixing everything that is wrong with the car before meeting any of you guys... which should put me in or around 2010.

Kind of like when people show up at your door without notice and you scramble to throw things in the closet to make it look cleaner.

List of things to do:1) complete tune-up2) complete suspension overhaul3) complete new paint job4) complete new interior

it seems like the only thing I feel comfortable showing you guys is the rear view mirror.

Dude - It ain't like that.

Just be there. Besides, it's not about the cars, it's about the people.

Ok, I don't live in AZ, I won't be going to any car meets anywhere near AZ, but I read this thread anyway, and I stumbled across it here, so I'll post it here...

Fred, I just watched that "kitty cat dance" thing in your sig.....I'm not sure I'll ever be right again.

clubs are cool just not cocky ones. we wont progress unless there is competition , a club is a great way to compete/interact. we can meet up together at tracks etc to compete driving similar cars so we'll try hard to beat each others times.

instead of going to the track alone not knowing what the car's potential is besides our own laptimes.
