The word is 30 minutes for the quick chargers. I have one on my 11' Leaf and have yet to use that big charging port, not even at the dealership yet. But that is the ulitmate way that this car will become totally useful.

Don't count on the 440 chargers catching on. I live in the Bay Area, the land of the electric car and there are very few of them. And they are run by a different company that requires you to pre-pay with them a reserve so I didn't do it. The only ones I know of so far are in Stanford Mall and cost about $12 bucks per fill-up
