Pretty stupid thing to say there David. As yet you actually have nothing to show for yourself (NO VH NO CARE?), and I for one am interested in seeing what other cool projects a fellow VH owner is up to. Oh... and this Camaro would smoke pretty much most VH transplants I've seen so far in a drag race... it's pretty hardass!

lol its like a family hobby.

My mom has a 1970 camaro with 5 speed and fuel injected lt-1.

My dad has a 1957 bel air two door, with about 700 hp .

And now we bought this to mess around with.

I have nothing to show ? So, your trying to say what?

I own a VH and its in my signature thats whats to show.

Who cares even if it can beat all the swaps on this forum how is that relevant? It's not. So don't get all butt hurt that I said NO VH NO CARE in a VH section.

See he's okay with it.

I commented because I looked and expected a VH and for a kick I put no VH no care in a VH section, there shouldnt be a problem saying that its a VH section!

I dont get why mettler tries to talk down to me I can knock on his setup all day if he wants.

What are you, like 15? I don't know about the others here, but I'm a little sick of you posting like a disrespectful teenager, now shut the hell up before you get the back of my hand! The fact that you'd even suggest sitting there knocking on my setup all day shows what an immature little twit you are.

''Get the back of your hand'' ?

Honestly, your where? In New Zeland talking about laying a hand on me, but you're welcome to try on the internet. With your superpower Mr. immature.

That is awesome. I can appreciate a cool build wherever it's posted! Had it been posted elsewhere I would not have seen it at all! All projects give me inspiration so I like to see them all.

You two cut it out now. Play nice.

well I liked to see it, even if I'm more often a Ford fan than Chevy. I'm guessing it's between 427" and 496" since it's a short deck block. Looks like an 8-71 blower. I don't know how big the crank pulley is for the blower, but I'd guess it's 1:1 or underdriven judging by the size of the blower pulley. I like it. I also dig the accessory pulleys and Lokar trans (I think) dip stick. Is it 4 link? Ladder bar? TH400? Powerglide? I bet it's at least got a Ford rear end in it...

Sad thing is, I do consider a sub 500" big block as a relatively small engine. I've been hanging out at the big block ford forum too much, me thinks. There, you build a 460 if you're doing a basic stock type rebuild or a mild warmed over deal. High perf street and slower drag cars are generally 514-572ci. "Big" starts around 600ci and goes to over 800. Then on the BMW forums, a 3.5L six cyl. is a "big" engine. It's all perception I guess. Oh, and how about that guy who put an 1100ci sherman tank Ford V8 in his mustang? That's just plain nuts.
