i have a few problems right now.. 1)my oil light stays on even though i changed my oil and cleaned everything out and checked it and it says its full but i cant seem to find the problem.. is it just my senser??

2)theres a knocking noise coming from my engine and i took off the valve cover and checked the valves cause my friends said it sounded like my valves were bad and they were all good except for 2 i can push them down a little bit and my macanic said its bad if i can do that.. should i just buy new valves or a whole new head??

i tried driving it this morning and when i push on the gas the rpms didnt go up at all they actualy went dont and the car sounded like it was ganna stall... i dont know wat the problem is please help thanks..

1)if you don't lose any power going up/down hills then it's most likely your oil pressure sensor2)just get new valves

It's not your valves that are bad. If you can push them down with your hands then it's the valve spring(s). They will need to be changed. You can even do it with the head still on the car. Just get an air compressor and pressurize that cylinder, compress the spring, remove it, install new spring(s) and de-pressurize.

It sounds like the sensor is bad. Easy fix.

But, if the knocking is a rod knock. That motor needs to be taken out, and rebuilt. Or maybe just replaced all together.

yes i have a single cam and thanks everyone ill write back after i get that **** fixed and ill tell you wat was realy wrong.. and ur the one that did my sig ?? haha i dont remember

i had a single cam and the rockers werent pumping up all the way and it was a real loud "knocking" sound. maybe thats your problem. good luck and let us know whats up..

ya thats exactly wat happened bro and i figuered since i already have 210000 miles on the motor it would b cheaper to just buy a new motor instead of rebuilding the head... so if ANYONE!! knows of a KA for sale please email me or write back on this thanks.. and i know theres a form for KAs for sale so dont tell me to go there haha i look everyday but i still havent found anything
