This 96 Q sure looked familiar when I saw it in the junk yard on Saturday. I think I might have given it a test drive last year. I remember the one I test drove was sending a bad KS code. Not sure how it all turned out -- but this Q sure looked familiar to me. Ahh the one that got away..

I just had to snap a few pictures for other Q club members to see.

Somebody definitely applied a "work around" solution to the KS problem.

Why didn't Nissan install knock sensors in this location? Think about the hours and money that could have been saved with a KS in this location.

Wes - wanna make this one a sticky? :gapteeth:

Why bother with electrical tape? Just keep it twisted.. :lolling:

You can tell that cone shaped air cleaner was the REAL priority performance enhancement.

I'll make another trip to the yard to possibly harvest a couple of other items before this one hits the crusher sometime soon.

Where can I git one of them-there fancy "one-wire" knock sensors for my Q?

You should pull the heads - We could place bets on which piston has a hole in it....

Skibane:

This is about the fan amp repair, I have a 99 Pathy auto temp control, blower going on full speed, blower motor has been repaired, could it be a faulty repair (drawing too much current) is the cause for the fan amp failure? DO you know if the parts for PAthfinder (the amp) are the same as for Q45?
