Nice! Although I see you hating that color in the future when you're washing the car every other day.

How'd you get a deal like that though? Test drive end with a tour of the back seat?!

I've been debating that...if I don't I'll just have it repainted after a few years. Did that to my last G and the aftermarket paint held up MUCH better than OEM.

My 04's bumper was repainted by the dealer I purchased it from...I personally don't care for the 3M deal, would rather have it repainted.

The problem with repainting is you have to deal with the rock chips long enough to the point you are fed up with it. NOT a good deal with my white G that has black under the paint. Hopefully the black G's don't have white under them like my blue Maxima did....

Looks so nice... I love obsidian black, don't worry too much about keeping it clean, it's all worth it after a good waxing...

I love the color too I found this since I didn't know what "obsidian" was:

Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. It is produced when felsic lava extruded from a volcano cools without crystal growth. Obsidian is commonly found within the margins of rhyolitic lava flows known as obsidian flows, where the chemical composition (high silica content) induces a high viscosity and polymerization degree of the lava. The inhibition of atomic diffusion through this highly viscous and polymerized lava explains the lack of crystal growth. Because of the lack of crystal structure, obsidian blade edges can reach almost molecular thinness, leading to its ancient use as projectile points, and its modern use as surgical scalpel blades.[1]

Also Now you just need the Coupe 19's to make it look really Good!

Good Job Joe!

The tech package was impossible to find on an 09...would have been neat to have adaptive cruise control.

So far she's been great! I haven't had it past 4k, so I don't know how much faster it is over my 05...

It's been nice, so she hasn't got dirty yet...but I do see a Zaino party in my future!

The car is a lot more functional than the coupe; we had the front-facing car set up and had plenty of room up front! It's funny that my daughter will remember this to be her first car...lol

There are only a few issues so far:

1. Music box is a great idea, but to fill the HD, you can only "burn" non-MP3 CDs. I don't see why you couldn't copy MP3 from a disk, flash or iPod.

2. Rear speakers didn't work...they replaced the Bose amp. Not a big deal, just weird.

3. Front seats could be better. I actually prefer the non-sport seats.

Still breaking in the car, but I can tell she's a beast! MUCH tighter handling than my 05 6mt coupe...that had the sport package!

Bad amp? I haven't seen that in a new G since they came out... weird. There's a first for everything. And I find it odd you're not fond of the seats. I LOVE the seats. But they will definitely soften up after a few hours of you sitting in them. And I've driven them hard plenty. The difference is big. MUCH faster than your Gcoupe. In every way. The paddles will make it fun in the twisties. Which in regards to handling, that new G is extremely well planted. I feel like mine handles great but I'll admit it felt sloppy after carving up a few turns in the G37... Yeah. I'm jealous. You'll get your Car shower gift on Saturday (maybe Friday afternoon).

lol, thanks Gabe, I'm looking forward to it!

Hopefully the seats soften up...the side bolsters are way too hard right now (yes, they are not inflated!)

First I heard of the Sub going bad on the 07+ sedan.

About the seat. Rich and I prefer the non sport seats also for the exact same reason.

I think sport seats are not for everyone.

Wait till you pass 4k rpm.
