I will explain the jam concept to you in a few sentences. When you jam you are usually with a group of friends. They can be playing different instruments or all guitars (never all bass or drums...cuz that is just gay =D). When you jam you all either play the same tune or all different things. You usually converse about songs and riffs you came up with or songs you know from other bands. And you also converse about other things such as women, sports, internet, video games, etc. A jam session can be held in many places including: A studio (used quite a bit), a house (the main place for a jam), or a guitar sales store where you can play the guitars (such as Guitar Center). I noticed that i went over my "few sentences" limit, but hey...its the jam concept...it is important to all people who play instruments.

P.S. I will make additions to this all the time so keep watch cuz the jam concept is important to all people who play instruments.
