Hoping this thread helps people who don't know a lot about cars or parts or what have you. I'll start:

I am worried about the stability of the front end of the car due to all the mods that have been done and am considering getting a front upper strut tower bar, but I know nothing about them. Is this a good deal?

I think this has been covered with regards to strut bars but here goes.

1. I don't think you'll be able to put on the rear strut bar of that set on because of all the real metal in the way.

2. I think it was concluded that a strut bar is more "effective" if it also mounts to the firewall. But good luck finding one and it won't be cheap.

that littel thing for the rear is crap all it will do is rust to crap..

My main concern is with the front end. It has had several modifications, at least 2 of which were heavy/serious mods. Basically, I wanted to know if the set mentioned above was crap or not. When it comes to eBay, you really have to know what you want or you can easily end up with a low quality CRAPPY knock-off and that's the LAST thing I want. I just wanna make sure I am getting a decent part to help stabilize the front end.

when you say a serious mod what are you really talking about a 5spd conversion? if so thats no really that serious it not like your car will handel poorly or break in half.

this is a nice sturt bar and not that bad of a price.
