The honda syndrome and Mustang GUys

Ok basically I just want to share my feelings about the Nissan community. You guys are so much better to deal with than most of my old Honda buddies over at another board. I guess Nissan guys just aren't quite so used to having to be on the defense. I find myself jumping to Hondas defense here and it is mostly unnecessary. Seems like everyone around here has a great deal of respect for pretty much any automobile.

I also like that most people avoid the "I have the best car in the universe" Mustang guy syndrome. Most everyone knows the real place that their car plays in the greater automotive scheme of things. What I'm getting at is

I agree that the Nissan crowd has a lot better attitude than many of the other communities.

I'm also quite find of the Mazda folks too, for that matter. Especially the RX-7 people.

NICO has the best forum I've been on so far...

the F-body forums are sad jokes, and the other two "import" forums I've browsed (which shall go nameless) are full of self-important bombastic twits with very limited knowledge.

also vwvortex.com is an alright place... altho they bash everything non euro there

I certainly like this place.. but there are still a few goons around here. (In my perspective). I don't think there is any vehicle forum in the world where you can find a perfect crowd though...

In my opinion, this board doesn't flame so much honda, but the ricers who usually drive honda's. This board doesn't like ricers, and honda's just get caught in there with the ricer flaming. I've seen a lot of riced out cars, my favorite is the stock neon's with huge azz wings.

Where is the love for the saturn on 20's with and intake and a coffee can, I mean muffler.The flame paint job puts it all together though. no really the flames they make it hot right. I also find it that if I see another Nissan enthusiast out on the road we have a "unnamed" and mutual respect for eachother and we appreciate eachother's taste, thats how I met one of my best friends Josh here in Cincy, cause most everyone around here knows crap about cars.

If I was back driving the honda, every civic accord and prelude would want to act as if they are the bomb n crap.

This place has a very good share of Honda haters on here as any other place. Most of them think they're better cause they have a 89 240SX and it gives them the right to bust down on a 99 civic, just because it's a Honda, and I'm not going to get into the people who think their 89 240SX is a better car then an S2000.Also there are alot of search button Nazis here, ones who have like 4000 posts and about 3500 of them are to tell the other person to use the search button. Other then that it's probably the best Nissan board out there.

The only hondas that I will associate with are Preludes they are by far superior over civics an accords, but there are some exceptions when it comes to turbocharged civics you hafta show some respect.

Ditto.all my friends still drive honda's though. I need to sell my prelude FSM so they can quit pestering me with questions. If you don't have a service manual, you don't need to be working on your car in the first place

This board is great though, and just like my friends pester me with dumb questions, i'm sure to have a few of my own. Don't worry though, the search button has been my best friend so far :thinker
