you should have had them widen the ring landings on the pistons for better reliability and strength. Anyways, looks good.

Uhh? Those ring lands are quite large. You'll find factory ringlands to be much closer to the top. And since the top rings are most important to aid in transferring heat from the top of the pistons where heat is the greatest, it wouldn't be too wise to increase ringland size excessively.

not to bad, but I'm suprised they didn't cut any anti-detonation groves into the pistons, and useually they leave a little 'ring' between the 2 ring lands to allow for better sealing.

At least that's how CP and Grex do it.

Glad to see your getting her all put back together, what did you end up doing for your fuel system anyhow?

Are those pistons oversized? How much did they cost you?

OOOHHHH...reminds me of when I first got my 8.5:1 JE's. Yours look a little different though. But then again I've got a KA24E. I'm jealous. I want Crower rods:(

I luv those pistons. Should be pretty efficient by the way they look to me. Driving the mixture towards the center for combustion.

Did you do any block work?? Honing or over bore??

Interesting...the stock lands are fairly beefy for a NA application. Anyone have a pic of the DOHC stock piston?
