Post

Just wanted to show some "professional" pics of my car and share some of the bad things that could come with being fitted

Those are the good, haha. It looks nice, right?

Bad:

Gotta be careful

Image

Gotta make sure you pay attention when adjusting ride height

I also had to replace my half shafts only after 9 months of driving like this. I say only because a lot of other car platforms have hellaflush setups and don't have some of the issues that I have here and there. Not sure if its because of the camber I have in the front (-1.5, not that much) or just from being lowered. But the cv joints on the axles are pretty much always pushed up against themselves. That and the axles are being stressed and pull on the boots I think. Like I'm said, not really sure. But I just replaced them last weekend.

Just wanted to share some of the good and the bad for those of you interested in this stuff.

What location are the pics from? You have an amazing sled but you couldn't drive that up north in the snow.

Don't let those issue's influence your decision. It took me 3 years before I dropped mine. Eibach's is a solid investment if you hate the wheel well gap.

I guess it's too late anyways, my Eibchs are on their way, and I can't really stand having them without putting them on! :gapteeth:
but I guess I should put some $$$ on reserve just in case anything goes wrong

You shouldn't have the axle/cvboot problems unless you max out your fronts on coils and remove 2 out of the three locking rings. You're going with springs so you shouldn't have any problems at all.

How long have you been on your bad boot?

I definitely will take the AC for a photo shoot up there. I've been going to White Rock Lake, another good spot. Dallas ACs need a meet. Ranga where are you?
