My fiance on the other hand doesn't care for my 240. For the most part we have similar automotive interests, but for whatever reason, he doesn't like the 240sx.

Oh well.

My girlfriend really likes my car. She's not really into it. She has a 98 Civic EX and rarely even hits it's vtec. She doesn't understand the enthusiasm we have with our cars :-)

the girl i was going out with at the time i bought my car didn't like it at all. first thing she said when she saw it was.....i like the CRX better. i tried to explain how it couldn't even be compared to those things, but she just didn't care. oh well, she's long gone and every girl since has loved it.

update on the girl who wouldn't be converted.........she's been livin in aussie now for 8 monthes. and her new fav car is the skyline. i guess everyone will come to their senses eventually.

our 240s are good for getting girls though. although you have to have some game to go along with it, the car does help. girls always love my car.

out of my 2 cars, my gf still prefers my civic, mostly cause its newer, has more options, and has more work done to it. Feh....not like she knows anything about cars, her dad's a big porsche buff, owns a carerra, rips on my cars every time I go pick her up.

My wife enjoyed driving my 240 more when it was new. But the stick shift, stiffer ride, no heated seats (unless you have beer and mexican food the night before), and no cupholders led her to prefer her loaded automatic Altima over my 240. And that's okay with me. I prefer driving the ol' 240. She also likes the 350z and said when I replace my 240 with a 350 6 speed track model in the next few months, she expects to drive it to work occasionally. Life is good...

A Q-guy HAS to chime in somewhere...

My wife totally loves my Q, esp the loads of power (and the heated seats).

She called me at work last week from her cell phone to tell me that she was driving behind a 240SX that had an aftermarket wing, chrome hubcaps and GET THIS: An Infiniti logo AND the chrome letters 'Q45' on the rear decklid.

I told her to run over it with our Suburban and put his pathetic a$$ out of its misery.

If I see it, I'll post a pic for y'all to rip on...

well being on the single side of things now I don't have to worry about the girlfriend not liking the car, but my ex-girlfriend did like my car when I bought it. Then she didn't like it before we broke up because the car was getting more presents then her.

yeah, my suspension doesnt offer a very smooth ride and no cupholders distresses some people, but that is what I love about it. besides would stuff really stay in the cup anyway?

My gf has always liked my 240's (yes she like the first one too hehe). I got her to buy a super black 92' s13 fb as well

She doesnt like the time I spend with the 96' though. The fact that most of my cash still goes into it doesnt thrill her to much either I would imagine. The fact that I said "why cant you be like my car" with examples in a few fights, is another no no hehe.

But she still likes it, and comes to video and take pictures of me on the auto-x course every time

I can understand the my car is my GF issue though hehe. You gotta take er out, alot, to keep her happy. You gotta talk to her, and spend lavish amounts of money on her as well. And dont forget to play with her either hehe. I still walk out to the driveway or through a parking lot and get this large grin when looking at my car, even after 3 yrs

Funny thing is Ive been out with 3 girls in my life, and the current for nearly 7 yrs. My second gf got a super black 95 se, back when I had my 91' (in 97' and with the current girl) and a cpl months ago I saw her with it still, and she competed, at my first auto-x event hehe.

So 3 girls, 2 of which currently drive black 240s hehe.

i don't have a GF. i want one, and (not trying to be full of myself) could choose one out of quite a few, but i just don't like anyone. i mean i wanna like them if i go out w/ them, ya know :rolleyes
