A guy saw my CL ad and asked to see the G. He and his dad drove the car, then asked if we could make the sale happen today.

I am now without a car and I'm honestly worried about what to buy as a replacement. A suby sounds great, but then again, I could get a cheap, practical car and leave it at that...

It's going to be a tough commute tomorrow.

Nate glad you did it. Now at least you can put this behind. I still think you should get a small new car. You pay maybe 10-12 k and get 3,4,6 years of warranty.

Hope you'll be happy. Looking forward to se what you pick.

Borrowing my MIL's 97 Avalon. <- That car is death on wheels. I think the control arm bushings are toast and the front end is massively Toe Out so any little bump in the road sends you flying to the right or left.

I thought that NICO's secret club kept me safe from bans

I'd love a second gen sedan, but practicality is getting the best of me. I've been praying about it and almost considered going back to an I30. Driving a FWD auto has taken care of that for me though lol.
johnparkyourcar wrote:Damn. We should have had a meet or like a going away party for the G or something...I dunno if you've seen Viveks car recently but holy crap he spent so much on it. I myself have a couple new upgrades too
Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere. Especially if we can pull a subie for a decent price. I saw one last night. It's the wrong gen, but the price and mileage are perfect.

2005 WRX in WRC Blue - Wingless35k miles$14k

The car above is still under warranty and qualifies for 100k mi warranty.

Sorry to all of the sedan owners, but I gag a little when I see the 04-06 sedans. The 03 looked like a Skyline with the dumb little doggie door and tail lights.

If I buy something in the mid teens, I can shave $100-$150 off of my car expenses AKA "Mod money"

I NO HAVE VERSA!!!

I'd buy a Yaris over a Versa lol.

Commute was pretty scarry. I need to find a replacement car soon, but I don't want to pull the trigger only to find something better next week.

I still love Nissans...just not the new ones lol. (Maxima's new body calls to me though).

Thanks. I could see my wife wondering why a NICO lady was dropping me off hehehe. She got kind of jealous when I told her that one of the potential buyers for my car was a girl

We got home safely, so that's all that matters.

Ideally?

2006 WRX in Aspen white with bronze wheels and an STI Wing lol.

Practically?

2005 WRC Blue WRX - Wingless.

I'm seriously wondering if God is telling me to hold off. Last month there were 5 or 6 WRX at the local suby dealership and a few online (Autotrader, CL...etc). This week. There might be 3 in total.

I never said that.

Nate WRX isn't much better on gas. One of my guy who works for me had an 06 I believe he had horrible gasmilage. Needlees to say he was pushing it hard. Also it was an STI. He traded it in for a gen coupe. Than he returned that one in few months due to the long long list of trouble he had with the car and dealers could not fix most of the problems. He's got a pick up now and he is riding his R6 summer.

have many years of warranty you get on the 05 WRX.

I did some research. I'd be improving my fuel economy by about 25%. More if I can drive a little slower and get a tune.

3/36k mile for $1500.

PRICELESS!!! Nice PS work and choice in fonts. Actually makes the car look better (if that's even possible).

Went back to the Suby dealership last night. Two problems:

1) I want the 2006 Aspen White WRX Limited with Intake, exhaust, turbo timer, and STI wing, that's going for $21,990.

2) The interior of the WRX is just SLIGHTLY larger than the G coupe. The only real benefits are the 2 extra doors, lower insurance, and better fuel economy.

Actually there's a 3rd.

3) They have a low mileage 05 in WRC blue for $14k, but I can't stand the 05 body style and I'd really prefer white .

Anybody got $30k to give me to buy a new Legacy?

Ha ha..

Hey, the 2006 Aspen White WRX Limited may have been abused, with all those mods, you know how people like that drive?

I lust for that subaru growl though, it's such a nice sounding boxer engine...

Just read all these posts. Sorry to hear that you sold your G. I do not want this to sound like we are saying good by....but it was nice to have met you and your wife, when you sold me the Grounding Kit. Very nice family and you are on the right track....doing the foot work. Be patient the right car will come.

Good Luck

Bahahahah

That awesome Grant.

BTW Kenrik has the Versa and the coupe. Nate has the Celica and had a coupe beside it.

Subies are great for DD in all 4 season. Not big fan of the body style tho. I like the newer ones a little more.
