First it was Rush and now it's O'Reiley and others. The Dems are all about supporting their dissent for Bush and the GOP but are actively against those who speak out against them and Obama. This is further escalating as it seems John Podesta and others are pressuring sponsors of these shows to pull out. My oh my, what a s*** storm that would have caused if the GOP had been doing it......

Way to go Obama dudes. What's next, jail time or firing squads?

People are within their rights to pressure sponsors of content they find objectionable. I find the ghestopo tactics of soros, podesta and think progress disturbing though. This is state-sponsored censorship, nothing surprising but still wrong.

Let's look at them for a moment, just to be fair.

source wrote:The Center for American Progress is classified as a 501(c)(3) organization under U.S. Internal Revenue Code. The institute receives approximately $25 million per year in funding from a variety of sources, including individuals, foundations, and corporations. From 2003 to 2007, the center received about $15 million in grants from 58 foundations. Major individual donors include George Soros, Peter Lewis, Steve Bing, and Herbert M. Sandler. The Center receives undisclosed sums from corporate donors.[1]

Some open government groups, such as the Sunlight Foundation and the Campaign Legal Center, criticize the Center's failure to disclose its contributors, particularly since it is so influential in appointments to the Obama administration.[2]

CAP has also been funded by the Democracy Alliance.

In 2006, the Center for American Progress was given a three-year, $3,000,000 grant by George Soros' Open Society Institute to be used for "general support"

interesting names pop up don't they?

* ACORN * Air America Radio network
a competing now failed network contributing to an organization that then leads a witch hunt against a competing broadcaster? Very interesting. I am not defending O'reilly, he is a joke, a bad one, but the tactics used on him could be used on others and that is scary.

Oh, absolutely. This goes WAY beyond this. We all know what people and organizations are involved here (you have done a good job showing that as well) and I wonder how things would be if they are successful at turning Fox into another MSNBC and running "Conservative Talk Radio" off the air. With the amount of money they can have for directives it would be easy for them to trash online sites and silence others by lawsuit bombardments. I'm sure all of these are felt as their options at this point.

Look at Palin. Since the election she has had 11 ethics complaints against her with the latest being about some Arctic Cat coat she wore at an event.

Sorry, but these people need to be shipped out to Russia where the rest of their creed are. Wonder when the jack boots are gonna be brought out and polished up.
