I'm talking a big 240sx meet held here in Florida sometime this winter. I'm thinking possibly a two day ordeal...kinda like the Supra guys do it. One day have a meet and greet w/ food, sponsors, prizes ect then that night go to a local track and battle it out....and the following day have a dyno day or something along those lines.

And if you think this is gonna be some regular 240sx meet...think again. Here's a short list of guys who are showing BIG interest in this possibly happening... I've actually called on the phone and talked to each and everyone of the following about coming....

1. Ivan from AMS and his monster KA-T

2. Mark from Mazworks and his equally powerful Sr car

3. Jason from Hybrid Dynamics

4 And Duy.....this quoted from him...

"we should have 4 cars (S14) from the houston area that will try to make it.. 1) 2jz (world's fastest and quickest S14, i think)...stroker motor and 1400hp coming soon 2) rb 26 fully built with powerglide 3) rb26 with powerglide and backhalved 4) 600+hp KA (either with z32 transmission or th350 depending on his mood)"

List of shops to participate...

1. Enjuku Racing2. XAT Racing 3. Mazworx4. Hybrid Dynamics5. AMS6. Titan Motorsports7. Powerline Racing8. Unorthodox Racing....and possibly more to be named....

My last and of course major ordeals right now is getting a solid date and location. I am to go up to Orlando in a week or so to check out a huge park on the Orlando area that would love to accomodate us. So with that and trying to corroltae a date for possible track rental....it's kinda tough... (two jobs and two kids don't help with time either..lol)

Also from what I gather I have the backing of KA-T.org, Freshalloy, and I believe even the good folks here at NICO said they would aid me with this effort if need be...

I want this to be HUGE guys...I've already got folks talking about having caravans out of Oklahoma, Texas, the Carolinas, ect....gonna be good times!!!

So....post any ideas ya might have as well as post if you are indeed interested in attending such an event.

Post and let me know your thoughts...

-Bill

Well as far as I know.....according to Tory (I guess that's how you spell it) has apparently talked to the main folks here at NICO and it was determined that they were going to cancel the January meet in order for mine to happen.....so as far as I know.....there is no NICO Jan meet anymore.

That aside....I'm surprised there is not that much interest here for the meet....do not many folks see this section of the boards?

Bill -

These guys are used to NICO showing up and spending a LOT of money and putting on a HUGE event...

I don't think it's a matter of anyone not being interested per se, it's just that we put on 5-6 huge events per year, which are very interactive, and people are "spoiled".

With that said, I hope a lot of NICO folks roll out and make this a success. I regret that I won't be able to be present.

Understood.....and I wish I could have thought of this sooner so as to collaborate with the folks here at NICO.

I'm sure there will be alot of members coming....

How would I go about getting in contact with you Greg...to speak about a few things....

Ok so the January meet is cancelled for this one to happen? It's understood because why should there be 2 big meets back to back... next meet is going to be in March for spring break nationals...

Here's a small update...I'm having a very hard time finding a date in which we can allng to happen. There is nothing open in March.....my idea was to have the meet on Saturday and then Sunday attend what they call "Funday Sunday"...where it's a test and tune day for whatever you're driving. Problem is...is that there will be tons of other cars there besides just us 240 guys. The only date I can forsee this happening is in Feb...specifically the weekend of the 3rd and the 4th.

Is that too early for folks or will that work for people....please post and let me know so as to start finalizing other things....
