It appears that a lot of people are yearning to be a part of the 'movement' because either they were too young or not born at all to be a part of the John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy or the Civil Rights Movement. I am sure some feel nostalgic for that era and they can live vicariously through the Obama campaign. I think the American Idol generation here should think long and hard when they cast their ballot for any candidate. Live by these two things.1. Never expect the government nor a candidate to fix your problems. 2. Never trust the government nor a politician fully.
Now I have to temper this with the reality that we must have a government to keep order in the country. But I will be damned if I am going to ask for a handout from these jokers.bud
but I also believe she never fully had a strong campaign in the first place. Sorry but I dont feel that either of the two Dem candidates have been very strong in really giving concise direct answers to questions. Barrack does not really have many accomplishments that I can name and Hilary doesn't seem to have anything except her first lady hood to fall on and socialized healthcare is a little insane in my opinion. I think the media plays way too much into both of their campaigns and makes them seem like great candidates...I dont think so.
And then there is John McCain. He seems a bit crazy as well. I know the next four years will be terrible for this country no matter who gets in office and I believe that its thanks not only to G. Bush, but also to the career politicians who are more concerned with playing political patriot games than taking care of the issues that the citizens of this country and this world have to deal with on a day to day basis.
