once i got the right tools it only took an hour...plus i found a check from 1989 for the gas station in the old air box...ya think its still good?[IMG][/IMG]

Did you leave the lower air deflector shield in place and attach it to the front of the POP? Can't see from the photo. It needs to be there or you may experience stumble/hesitation at speed.

PS- it looks like your clamp should be slid closer to the MAS before tightening

ya i saw that clamp issue as well.... no i took it all out i can see strait down...have expirienced great gaines once it spools up its intense! cant wait for the exhaust and timing belt...

That shield should be put back in. Not only does it help shield it against air buffeting, but should you ever be in a rainy situation and drive through a deep puddle, it will protect against it sucking in a bunch of water an hydro-locking your engine.

oh.... i dont plan on going thru puddles in my car but thats a good to know....it was the only way to get the filter in...ill have to get a new filter..
