Finally got the truck painted after 6 long mos. working at my leisure. For two mos. straight
it snowed every two weeks hampering the progress. It's not perfect but I am happy with the finished
product.

Thanks guys, I learned a lot doing this project and the Nasson single stage paint looks great. I will
definitely use it again! The only issues I see with the paint is two small cracks where I had 3 to 4 coats
of Nasson primer to fill some larger scratches. Lesson learned, no shortcuts in prepping!

The feeling of accomplishment totally makes doing it yourself worth the extra pain/time! Kickass dude!

btw, if you want, you can go ahead and put the img tags on your pics, our bad arse web guy got the forum software for pics to work, so you can post any size pic and it'll automatically resize, but the full size image will open when clicked!

I am reminded again of the "cab-forward" lines to the D21 that only look that way at some angles. It is kind of like those Japanese mini-vans where you sit right over the front tire. The 14 inch rims make this effect more noticeable, but I sometimes noticed it even when I had 31x10.5's. Not every angle does this, though.

Great work, though, jdan. It is like a brand new Nissan.

This is the The Truck for my son he has 17 months before he can get his permit. He took care of a lot of things around the house a couple years back after I had heart surgery. Some may say I am giving it to mim but he really earned it.

His plan is to add 16 inch Frontier wheels and 215/55/16 tires and a 2/3 inch drop, chrome mirrors and gray rally stripes. A dash pad is still needed but that's his project. I will drive it a few times a month to keep things lubricated and running smooth. His sister is a year older and she may use it to take them to school some in the fall

Fantastic job! Your son is going to love it, if your daughter will let him have it ;).
