I have a solid buyer for my G...so it's time to look for something new!

I'm pretty set on a 2009 or 2010 G37 sedan.

Gotta have:1. NAV, Premium, and Sport options2. Graphite Interior3. Black or Blue Exterior 4. Splash Guards

Don't need:1. tech package option2. Aero Dynamics package3. Any other available options/package

I went to the dealership and they put down some numbers...but still seems high for an 09. In fact, he said that he could get me in an '10 for similar money...that's when I knew he was playing around.

So, any help would be appreciated

Looks like you know what you want, you are just trying to get the right price. I could hook you up with the salesman I used at Infiniti of Memphis. He is a nice fella. Don't know if he could save you any money or not. Just let me know.

Sure, I've purchased new cars from out-of-state before.

Name is Chad Tidwell. Good ole country speaking fella. Not at all a pushy car salesman type. His cell # is 901-601-7292.

Let me know if you come here to look at one. I'll buy ya some lunch!

I suggest you reconsider the splash guards. They are nicely integrated, not ugly mud flaps, and keep sand and rocks from stripping the paint off the rocker panels and the bottoms of the rear fenders.

Do you think you could get him down some. Do you want me to go rough him up a little bit?

Go for the '10 model.

The technical improvements are worth the few grand that you can save at this time on the left overs. The difference in prices between even slightly used and new is (even today with limited '10 availability) a matter of a few grand.

The new dash and interior appointments make the 2010 model one I am strongly considering purchasing myself. Good luck on your hunt.

True, BUT, you don't pay tax on it!!! If they didn't put it there, it would be in the price of the car, which you DO pay tax on.

I'll check, but that sounds like a good deal. You are getting it at invoice ($38,094) - the $3K dealer cash (better than a rebate cause you pay tax on rebate) and part of the hold back money. The dealer fee cap here I believe is $600, but most charge between $400 and $599.

I have my doubts that the dealerships here could do alot better.

Do they have any extras that they can throw in?? free tint, wheel locks, etc...Is this a local deal or is it already an out of state deal??

The dealer is somewhat local dealer in Gwinnett. There is a closer Infiniti dealer in Union City, but they play games...I just service my car there (warranty work only )

When I go on Saturday, we'll see if they throw in anything.

Steve, can you list the differences side-by-side? I know I like the new front fascia, but I didn't see a drastic change on the interior. What are the technical improvements?

The interior actually gets upgraded as well. I really like the new interior design. 20092010 there are new textures and sexier designs.next generation navigation system, new gauge color scheme and center console design, rain-sensing wipers and Advanced Climate Control System with Plasmacluster air purifier added to Technology Package.aside from the new look, which is much more appreciated in person.

The 2010 also has the upgraded ecm and tcm with new...uh... programming and stuff. Basically, its just got the evolved dna in it. The engineers made all sorts of minor adjustments for constant improvement. If I find out othre things, I'll let you know

Is the screen smaller or it just looks like smaller. Overall I like the changes on the interior. Not sure about the litle compartment where the cigarette lighter is. It was easy reach and plug in things. It seems like will be harder to do so with the new design.

Glad they not sitting on thir arse with the design.

Same size. The screen is actually a new design. Better resolution and touch screen and more stable picture.

I wish they had the GTR screen...

The NAV versions are touchscreens right?
