Someone decided to be cool and let the air out of my 2 passenger side tires last night. Had this car 8 ****ing days, first night it's been over here at my dads place. What the hell. People lack balls.

Good point. Slashed tires are very bad. If they only let the air out, atleast you can pump em back up.

actually, there are a few different possibilities now.

1) they both convientently sprung leaks at the same time. very coincidental.

2) my dad let the air out, because the valve stem covers are back on.

3) someone slashed them with a nail and im just not seeing it.

4) yesterday when my dad drove it for the first time he hit a curb and messed them up.

any takers? any takers?

P.S. The neighbors have an engine hoist in their front yard, but no air compressor. Hooray.

#4.

Dad's driving sucks.

#3 is impossible, #2 makes no sense, and #1 is, well, coincidence.

haha, well you must understand #2 comes from him completly backing out of his statement I could use the surplus for what I had to buy a car with, to use on the car however I wanted. This money was ofcoarse going toward an engine. He thinks im going to go out and drag race it on Speedway with my new FASTER ENGINE. so it wouldn't surprise me if he let the air out just to piss me off or keep me from taking the car out while he's gone.

Maybe the tires are junk and he wants you to replace them with roadworthy ones?

Be cool to Dad, he's just trying to do the right thing. His son is gonna be DRIVING - That's a tough one for a dad to deal with.

He also knew his son was planning an engine swap, and he also knew thats why his son wanted to buy a TSi to save him from doing a swap since the engine is nice and tunable already, and he would have bought that talon for $1700 more if his son hadn't called him from an airport in another state. He also knows he's screwing me over by not helping to get this engine, and now I am stuck with a car that needs a new clutch and is fairly slow. Hooray. He's a slut. The right thing would be for him to be a man and follow through on his words. But he is far less than that, so I dont know why I expexted him to follow through in the first place.

see if they loosened your valve stems ..... its very quick and very easy to loosen valve stems if you have a valve stem tool.
