Am I the only one SICK of seeing it? Usually it's tied with some self pitying crap that has nothing to do with your life as a whole other than it was part of it.

"I farted when I said hi to a chick, FML"

Yes, curse you WHOLE life cause of 1 thing you didn't like. Or

"I can't beat this video game, FML"

Yes, it's all over, go end it. You're worthless cause Gannon pwnt you.

STFU, quit crying.

My one buddy says it every time something goes wrong, especially with work. What I don't get is that the people whose lives really do suck that bad don't say it, they just suck it up and drive on... straight into a light pole.

It's just like anything using the word EPIC, or FAIL, or EPIC FAIL, or GTFO, QFT and a handful of dumb others. Noobs will use it until the horse turns to powder.

It's pretty ironic that some one would created a thread to let us know that you are unhappy with the choice of words people use to express their unhappiness.

Hey OriginalWheelman, people will tell you that their unhappy and if it bothers you get a fu*king helmet.

I think he's annoyed by the term "FML" after every little complaint, not the complaints itself.

I think people who use that phrase are weak and pathetic, honestly.

Either that, or they're too stupid to appreciate the precious gift that life really is.

God forbid they ever have a REAL crisis come into their life... they'd curl up in a ball, piss themselves and die.

Bunch of overdramatic emo whining entitled spoiled weaklings...

Find a way to navigate this world or get off of it, you're breathing my good goddam air.

PEOPLE KEEP SAYING FML, FML

Its a three-letter alternate of "Oh, how unfortunate". Who the hell is literally interpreting it as "f*** my life"?

Right and the fact that it bothers him is ironic.

So they're too stupid to come up with an abbreviation that means what they mean? Yeah, that definitely makes it less annoying.

How about this? GAB Giraffes are baboons. Obviously that means "I want a ham sandwich with extra mayo." Who the hell would literally interpret that as "giraffes are baboons?"

Stupidity is the most annoying thing in the world.Whiny f***ing kids is the 2nd most annoying thing in the world. This is both.

I see the point your trying to make MoD but "FML" and "Oh, how unfortunate" is much more closely related than "GAB" and "I want a ham sandwich with extra mayo".

FML isn't a cry for help. Its a turn of phrase.

The early bird gets the worm, but you aren't supposed to literally eat worms. FML isn't a suicide note.
