ive bought like 3 of the cat backs and a couple of the short shifters, the ones with the base on them and theyve all ended up working great. Also bought som e-motor usa coilovers and they rode better and were lower than the tein ha and tein basics that ive had before.

I bought a test pipe like 3 years ago from ebay. Buy the cheapest one there is, it will work fine. All it is is a metal tube.

I had an eBay exhaust a while back and it hung really low and the brackets broke off after only about 3 months. Never again.

I've got an eBay catback...hangers broke off as mentioned before...but I have it tied up with header wrap now. Really can't justify buying a $500 exhaust until this one rots out completely. And the exhaust sounds great, so I'd like to keep it as long as possible.

the exhaust was a complete FAIL, i broke it in two days cause it hung so low, and thats with me tying it up as high as possible

sway bars also failed, didnt come with brakets and were too big to customize the stock ones

everything else works perfectly fine and no problems with the installs

Some more contributions; I'll rate fitment and performance/durability - 1 star=crap / 4 stars=excellent

Ebay Intercooler and IC Piping (2005-present) Fitment - *** (cold pipes needed a little persuasion, nothing to be too concerned about) Performance - ****

Ebay NA Header (2005-2005) Fitment - ** (everything lined up perfectly except the EGR bung) Performance - ****

Ebay T2 Manifold (2005-present; customized and reinforced in 2007) Fitment - **** Performance - ****

Ebay T28 Turbo (2005-2007) Fitment - **** Performance - *** (had some shaft play after 1.5 years of use)

Ebay T28 Dump Pipe (2005-2007) Fitment - **** Performance - ****

Ebay T3/T4 Turbo (2007-present) Fitment - * (on one turbo, the hot side stud holes did not line up with the exhaust flange; the other two turbos had perfect fitment) Performance - ** (the turbos have performed remarkably well at 15 psi while they lasted; the first one developed excessive shaft play after 1.5 years, the second one did the same and started burning oil at ~11 months, and I just installed the third one 3000 miles ago; it should be mentioned that the first two turbos saw regular track day duty; all three were ~$150)

Ebay Turbo Oil Lines (2005-present) Fitment - *** (the thread on the oil pressure sensor switch tee had to be cleaned up with a die) Performance - ****

Ebay 3 inch Down Pipe (2005-present) Fitment - **** Performance - ****

Ebay N1 Dual Exhaust (2005-present) Fitment - **** Performance - ****

Ebay 8:1 FMU (2005-2006) Fitment - **** Performance - ** (the first one did not work at all; got a replacement that performed perfectly)

Ebay 6 Puck Clutch (2005-2005) Fitment - **** Performance - * (replaced it the same day it was installed; slipped worse than a worn OEM)

Ebay 25mm Bolt-On Wheel Spacers (2007-present) Fitment - **** Performance - ****

Ebay A/C Vent Dual Gauge Pod (2005-present) Fitment - **** Performance - ****

Ebay Front Bumper Clear Turn Signals (2005-present) Fitment - **** Performance - ****

Ebay Front Fender Clear Turn Signals (2005-present) Fitment - **** Performance - ****

Now for some brand name stuff that has not been up to snuff in my personal experience:

Cometic Head Gasket - (worthless; replaced with a Nissan HG that has worked flawlessly)

ACT Throw Out Bearing - (the HDR6 kit has been a dream since 2005, but once in a blue moon the TOB will crap out on me and I'll have to depress the clutch pedal twice to get the car in gear)

Nissan Suspension Bushings - (Energy Suspension bushings will handle a lot more abuse for a lot less money)

Precision Manual Boost Controller - (occasionally spikes by 3-4 psi when the car first goes into boost)

Flex-A-Lite Fans - (one of the fan motors lasted only 3 years)

hmm ive bought quite a bit of car shiz off of ebay, mostly all brand name parts but ive ventured a few times. I tend to stay away from things that have numerous parts, less that can go wrong.

GTR GrillTRD Shift KnobTension Rods, Front Lower Control, Front Sway (Sucks), Rear upper /lower, traction rods, toe arms, rear sway (also sucks) Godspeed cant make sway bars....HKS Cam GearsBattery Relocation BoxExahust Heat WrapSilvia Key :P

Thats all i can think of right now, the only thing i didnt care for was the sway bars, everything else was definately top notch and a bargain.

i have alot of them no name suspension parts

comparing them to wicket tuning (a friends rcua and toe rod) they are practically mirror images of eachother

the design is the same, the dimensions are the same, the thickness of the material is the same and the welds are about the same

IMO they are fine and can take the same abuse as other named brands in of a similar design

however....i will eat my words if one does break i will post it and admit defeat

Ebay elbow and downpipe w/ flex section for SR20det

Fits fine until you lower your car. The pipe hangs a bit low and needs bent more. Flex section scrapes on a lot of things... Waiting for it to scrape through.Or I'll just take it off and weld it higher so it doesn't scrape through the flex metal yayyy

Ebay test pipe flanges are a bit small, and it could have been longer, but it bolts up fine.Don't worry about your test pipe heating up LOL... It's NOT a cat. It won't trap gasses for long periods of time and heat up like a cat. Safe to remove your cat heat shield after test pipe install.

CXracing intercooler pipe kits are a very good value. Where else can you get Aluminum piping that increases with diameter along it's way to the TB for 75-85 dollars shipped to ur door? (without intercooler or BOV flange win) Includes flanged pipe ends, T bolt clams that don't rust (PA winter), fiberglass couplers etc. Hell, their t bolt clams I recieved are of better quality than PBM. The PBM nuts used tend to strip the T-bolts.

BTW nice LOL smiley Dattebayo

The test pipe i got off ebay actually would get soo hot that my shoe melted to the floor i went to lift my foot off the gas and move to the brake and i couldnt move it. I have an ISIS test pipe that is brand new that i dont need if you want to buy it.

I have got a short shifter off ebay for $30 shipped that worked out great for 4 years, also a godspeed intercooler kit for my friends CA setup worked out well too. Other than that i buy quality parts off ebay when they are cheaper.

Are/were you using a stock catback exhaust? The extra backpressure from that could have been the source of your problem. Or running lean will cause high egt's.
