Hi everyone, thanks in advance for any and all help. I have a 2000 I-30t. The SES light came on recently; after checking, I had received the dreaded P1320 and replaced all coils and spark plugs. I cleared the code, the car seems to idle fine. If I turn the car off and let it sit for several minutes, then start it up, the SES illuminates again. If I drive it around the neighborhood (no more than 45 mph), it seems to run fine. There is a slight roughness under stiff acceleration but it seems smooth otherwise. I have visually inspected all connections & do not see anything abnormal.

I'm not sure what to do next. The car is not a primary vehicle so I can take my time troubleshooting. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Aside from harness and ignition coils, P1320 problem can be caused by faulty condenser (capacitor) or Crankshaft Position Sensor. The condenser seldom fails so it would be better to do a continuity check first on the harness before checking the condenser and the Crankshaft sensor.

There are numerous threads about P1320 problems...just do a SEARCH. For diagnostic, refer to the attached link, starting on page EC-506. It's for the 2001 I30 but should work for 2000 I30.
