Hi Guys.

I'm looking at some options to sort out this disaster On he back of my car.

From a few searches i see you guys don't tend to like this style and I totally agree. But are they rare ? does anybody actually want these things ?

I can only see my 2 options being

1) Red out Vinyl Film kit
2) Get some red M35 lights sent out from a member ( what are these worth )
3) Try and find some new replacements online ?

I think the standard lights look really really good. I personally hate these ones.

I'm with you on the stock lights...loved them when I had my 07.

Believe it or not, there are a bunch of ricers on the M FB group. Some of the things they've done to M's are just 'UGH' in my book (it's a freakin luxury car - not a Honda Civic).

You may find interest there to do a straight up swap. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, buying or selling M parts on here has always been a challenge.

By all means though, please stick around the forums. The FB group is a hot mess half the time including arguments and bickering...more knowledge is stored/shared here and it seems like you know a thing or two. Heck, if your LSD project works out I'll even pin it in the FAQ thread. #incentive :gapteeth:

I have only seen them one other time in all of these forums and I agree.. They were on a white car and I don't necessarily think that the clear would be so bad ON WHITE but then there is the obnoxious red reflector that ruins it (my opinion only). I agree that the standard looks way better, so only IMO, in the situation I would want the replacement, but if you're confident with the red vinyl then give it a go.. Maybe it'll look amazing.

Thanks for the Advice Ilya , yes trading parts is made even more so difficult due to my Location In New Zealand.

I'm 27 and while new to this Forum i have been on many others for 10years +, and not a particular fan of FB groups.

I think for the $20 kit the Vinyl might be worth a go, i see others on here have done smoke and such. Can anybody comment on difficulty. The Video's suggest its fairly easy. I'm more of a diffs and turbo's kind of guy than an exterior mods kind of guy.

Welcome to NICO, mate.
I had an 07 M35 and judging just by your picture, those seem to be the same shape and size of the US 06-07 M35 tails. If you can verify that I am right, here is a set that is available from the same seller on Ebay.
Assuming you are willing to buy an OEM set (new or used), you can check the links in my sig to see how I customized mine in a tasteful manner. The bottom link is a sort of DIY on how I tinted mine.

** in the event you find a set and the seller cannot ship to NZ, you can have them shipped to me in the states and I will take them to the post, find out what you need to pay me to ship from me to you, and send them from here.

Hi larz

That is a very kind offer, thank you I will definitely look into it.

I believe the 05/06 this is simply because 05 was the release year for JDM cars, and then in 06 you guys got the Export market M35 Cars. I do agree they look to be the identical part.

$215 each usd is the price to beat.

Thank you all for the information and welcome's. I still can't get over how nice these cars are.
