so my car started acting ****ty again. I erased my ecu, drove for a while, and i'll be damned, got a 45 (leaky injector) after doing the diagnose. I was pretty bummed, since I had just replaced the whole fuel rail not a month ago (was a ***** to do so too). So I'm wondering, is it possible to get a "leaky" injector by crudding it with dirt? I tend to drive bone dry sometimes, so i'm thinking some dirt from the bottom of the tank might have gone through. I am saying this, 'cuz the last injector leak also resulted after running bone dry twice. Will seafoam fix it? Could it be faulty o2 sensor(s)?

o2 sensor has its own code

hmm...you are right, but I was reading somewhere that a faulty o2 sens. can cause overcompensation of fuel by the ecu and somehow think it's the injectors

ya, i read that too somewhere ... soo just recet ECU codes n see if it pops up again... or u can test the resistance of the injectors

also, u can do that combersome 02 sensor test to see if the LEDs are flashing quickly or slower... but, yea, there is a seperate code for a bad o2 sensor.

that sux to run it bone dry... i don't want to strain the fuel pump by clogging the gas filter n making it work harder.

You know what...I put some seafoam yesterday, and the car did not want to fire after that. I had to give it gas for a while, and stalled a lot. However, I let it sit for like an hour, and I have not had problems since. Sure, it still drives rough at idle, but I don't get a bobbing needle or any stalling...Thank you SEAFOAM...

By the way, How do I test my injcs. resistance? Do I need a multimeter I guess?
