I'd like to announce it's over, for the time being (remember, it's my bad shadow, it'll come back, but I don't care, life is awesome now)...
Right, so I was trying to choose between two awesome girls, one is pretty much everything I could ever imagine rolled up into one person, the other is really cool and the aura of expectation was holding me back mostly from going for the other. For the sake of names, we'll call the first "R" and the second "C."
So, I get a call from my buddy Z, best friend I've ever had, but anyways, he calls me and says "hey, what's up? You doin' anything tonight? I'm trying to get something going with my gf and I figured I'd get you in too."
"Nah man, nothin.""Aight, I'll give you a call when we figure out what."
He calls me back later and he says:"Hey, we're going to see Van Helsing at the doller theatre, you in?""Hell yeah.""Cool, I couldn't have handled LL and her friend Tif by myself.""Gotta ask, is this friend hot?""Haha, yeah.""Sweet."Whatever, you get the point.
Sooooo, I meet up with him and the ladies at the dolla and I'm thinking "****, she is hot! Lemme check the personality."
So all the through the movie we're kinda whispering and making cracks and stuff (I don't think we pissed off the people around us too much, I hate being the movie ruiner for anyone but the person next to me...), so then I settle in to my groove, gotta share two bits of this story.
So, we're talking, and the bit comes in where there's some chemistry/flirting between Helsing and the princess hotness chick. She ends up on top of him or something briefly and I turn over and say "Yaknow, if I was a cheesy, horny guy, I'd say we should follow their example." (laughs and a gorgeous smile)
Later, I decide to play the arm-rest game, one of my favourites, so I slide my arm up next to hers on it. She slides hers off... didn't catch the hint... well, I gotta go through with it, but how? Duh! I turn to her and say "Yeah, you so completely ruined my master plan." "What was that?""The arm-rest game, of course.""Oh." (insert gorgeous smile again)She slides her arm up and the battle commences. I reach my arm over to her side and slide her arm my way, almost winning, but she manages to get her thumb into the cup holder. So, after a bit of playing around with that, other flirting, and hilarious looks from Z and his gf, I slide her arm up and go for the hand. Why just the hand? Cause it's the classic nice guy thing.
Nice guys don't finish last.
Hands stay til after the movie, and slowly slide apart... dammit, I just scratched my nose and it STILL smells like her... oh well, good smell :ylsuper ...
Right, so we go somewhere nearby to hang out for a little while and Tif and LL go over to another table (girl chats are so durn obvious!), so Z and I keep chatting. Talking about everything catching up on each other's lives, etc.
We get back to the parking lot and we're talking, LL and Z are kinda off away, can't see us. They're talking for a while and I knew from the beginning they were stalling, but I figure I'll share it with Tif. So I say "Pretty sure they're stalling.""Yeah, I think so to.""It's obvious why too.""They may be waiting awhile.""Nah, I don't think they'll stall for long."
BAYUM, in for the kill.
We walk over to Z and LL and there's an exchange of hugs (major hug there too, hugs are awesome ladies and gents!) and we all head out.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I feel so much better, this chick lives in Pike County, where Z and LL live, so she's not near my area's drama and crap. It's perfect, I get away from it all for someone who's really cool and generally fun to be around. She's also a really happy, really laughy, person, which is different from many of the girls I've been with. I'm psyched, cloud nine is mine... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I just had to share (sorry for the long post), I think we needed a happy personal story, and from who better than a guy who's been down on his luck for nearly a year?
