^ A big mean fire breathing monster. Really the dragon is Deals Gap, or Tail of the dragon. I believe it has some thing like 318 turns in 11 miles. I want to take my FD to the rotary rally this year, I here the cabins are cool.

Are you east or west of it? I'd be coming from the east, haha it'd be sweet if you could join the caravan along the way. It's going to be me, a boosted integra, and a riced out celica. Hopefully my car will be boosted by then.

+1 on that, Check out the roads going towards TN from basically anywhere East of Asheville. Marion or Morganton to Johnson City, TN. Just watch out around places like Boone/Spruce Pine, very small touristy towns with cops. But out in the sticks, great driving. maybe not tail of the dragon good, but if you live in the area it's fun. Just drive reasonable and safe!

I used to go north of Mt. Airy through Orchard Gap to the Parkway. I cant remember the name of the road up Orchard Gap but no cops & its like a small pikes peak

man if ur into curves, thats the place to go.. i been there once with my buddys, but we took our bikes, theres a bunch of bikes althrough there and sometimes a lot of cops too.

bike manufacturers usually meet up downthere an all the bikers ride thrue it together, i tell u what when u ride through n u get bit of speed the curves sneakup on you,(not to fast hell u wont get out of 1st sometimes 2nd), it about make your a** it your seat,,lol

some curves seem to never end but its fun as hell n very, very dangerous..

I live like an hour from the dragon. One word can explain it. Exhilarating. Some advice- 1-If you see a beat up old truck that is painted camouflage get the f*** out of there. Rednecks get really angry when people drive fast on their mountain. My friend and I had an experience with one redneck and a crossbow(We think) looking device.2-BE careful if your going to go though. There are a lot of bikes and cops, so in my opinion go during the week when people are still at work/school.3-DON'T speed on your first time, of course unless you want a giant tree to impale you while your flying down the mountain side. I am no expert, but seriously be safe. We don't want any news stories of some 240 guy flying off the mountain and dying. If you want a fun experience on a long, curvy, and beautiful mountain road go for it. Once again I'll say I am no expert on driving the mountain, lol. I have only ran the dragon 4 times and it is one of the better experiences I have had.

That's not my car or video, but it's a Greddy BOV. Gotta love that sound...
