Everyone has their own opinions on this, and before it's all over with, it'll be another SR vs KA vs RB vs JZ vs some other random motor...

It's remaining open because there's no real reason to shut it down. If people want to keep talking about the differences that's fine, as long as they don't start spewing out random false info. For now, I'll keep correcting (At least on the SR related stuff...) but if false info keeps getting spread and I get tired of correcting it, I'll lock it and delete the posts with false info.

Silvias are LHD and non turbo. They come in 4 chassis, the X, Y, Z, A chassis. And they are totally full of awesomeness

Silvias come with KA-T engine. 240sx come with SR

I didn't expect so many replies, I searched it and asked my father who's a lifelong mechanic and what I said is what he told me, To answer some questions, yes I would like to replicate the s14 model if possible, from my understanding all I need to do is change the whole front clip(minus the frame but all of the body work on the outside), please correct me if I'm wrong, also I'd like to put an sr20 or rb20 in it, not sure which yet, any opinions appreciated.

--Scott--
if it's an s14, why are you changing the front clip?

the biggest difference that no one has seemed to mention is the fact that the Silvias dont even have wheels/tires.
They hover like all of the other cars in JDMland

DUH!

You guys are so ill informed
