Through another forum contact I was directed to a Michelin Man who designed the Sport XGTV TIRE for the 1990 Q application. He has a 1994 Q which has been modified surprisingly with many of my recommendations. His own independent testing. He has never seen either forum. He mathematically derived the solutions vs. my years of trial and error.

The 20mm rear sway bar [28 mm front] [the oem hard parts from the Q45a] and Tokico blue on the rear and oem black shocks on the front.

Maybe we will get real numbers for the old tire which might be correlated to modern tires.

Guess what tires he runs Pilot H4 on oem rims [guess they are free but he has the entire range to chose from].However he did testing with the 18" MXM [2003 Q45t] on his car before oking the final design.

Now if I can only become a quasi expert so I don't sound the fool on tires. When you deal with head of design, you better be prepared to deal in advanced math.

Maybe a tour and some face time is in the cards.

US tires are designed in US design center in Greenville, SC. You know the EU/TUV has Real standards which would be over kill for the weak US requirements. Remember the sidewall printing et al is different.......The are almost no all season tyres sold in EU: Summer tyres above 45F and winter tyres and snow, ice tyres as opposed to US TIRES.........GOMAS, PNEUS, Gummireifen, Gomme, Neumáticos, are different animals
