yeah I was, video is here, I had a wastegate bolt come loose in qualifying, so a 255 tire w/ 0 boost on a 9:1 compression KA doesn't work out well.

hey bro did your car look the same back then, i was there too but came in a little late so i missed ya. It was just a bad day, too cold. I did like seeing Sam crash, wait was it same or someone else ?

it was a lot different, no wide fenders, no forgeline wheels, it was green, haha, that's about it. I also wasn't driving the 2nd day, because of first day problems.

Sam didn't crash, he did catch his tires on fire though. Hiro grazed the wall, I don't think anyone crashed hard, JR crashed his S13 first day (fixed it and got back out there 2nd day though)

I was I was, that was the shot that made my car famous, I got the opening scene of the formula D show on speed channel.

Story:

I was nervous, it was 102* F outside so after every run i'd get out and spray the radiator, and IC down w/ water, and get back in the car, move up in line, I just made sure everything was cool, well I got back in line one time, sat there for a while, figured oh well, might as well strap in....woops forgot hood pins.

I tell yo uthough, proping the hood up in the rear REALLY creates a vacuum, because that hood stayed down up untill 80mph when I cracked the car sideways, it finally came up.....yes, I was a tad bit scared.
