i did all this in seven months. with no help from shops or anything. oh and by the way i'm only 18 and still in high school. and i did this with all my own money. and this thing is built for drifting, not sittin and lookin pretty, numbers as of right now are 375 rwhp, and 368 ft. lbs of trq. i have a kaaz 1.5way lsd, and just dropped in a set of s15 480cc injectors and a gt2871r turbo. and have yet to tune it. so after all that is put in i will prolly have more than enough power. but the only thing that is holding me back is tracking down a safc II. even with the reflash i still have to much of an agressive fuel curve, the car still buck a lil commin out of 2nd and out of 3rd. still some bugs in the system, but not bad for a kid who did 19k in work in his own garage, with bare essential tools. this car is my life, and i am quite proud of it.

Got some 300zx TT wheels and spent Friday night installing my suspension.

And I found out that a good propane torch is a lifesaver when doing suspension. ANything gets stuck, just heat it up in the right place and you can feel it break free

Its hard enough maintaining the thing, its even harder to push it so I can compete with it.

Need some help guys. Blacktop sr20det, off a 96 180sx.

can you guys tell me what US parts are interchangeable and can cross over to fit this engine?

Stoked to have her going again! I’ve done all the work myself including rebuilding the turbo, except for the tuning. When it was getting tuned the waste gate spring wasn’t holding boost. It made 161 rwkw on 8 pound so will be looking forward to see what she does on a lot more boost!

i got u all beat with this bad boy... this is how u drive those ****ing mountains if u got balls and also PUT A 4PT HARNESS INTO UR 240sx IT WILL SAVE UR LIFE LIKE MINE... 80MPH and flipped... only scratches to my arm because i had to crawl out on my roof while it was still upside down in all the shattered glass.

,lol..you must think you were driving some kind of super machine incapable of being crushed when you were driving in the mountains with only a 4pt. harness.seem slike you didnt even have a cage.. if it had rolled a bit more, you wouldnt be here and you'd be in a grave with your neck broken.

That's an JDM OEM kouki rear bumper and valances. They're a total of 3 pieces including the bumper.

The wheels are Nismo LM-GT4 wheels. They do make identical copies of them that come in all different colors AND the same offset, which is good for the budget racer. Only way to tell the difference is the "monoblock forged" casting on the wheel or the mat finish (anodized).

Well, I'm pretty new here, been a fan of 240s for years but never had the chance to own one until now. Here's my 95 SE, bone stock, ticking like crazy (bad ticking...like a timebomb ticking). Plans.....red top possibly. Maybe black, maybe notch, depends on what kind of a swap loan I can get. Anyway, to the pics!



And no, I didnt put those gauges in, it was the previous owner somewhere in Texas that did.

lol, my car isn't going to get any attention with that smashed s13 above it. though it DOES make me feel better about its condition!

Dude, you are a complete moron. The 4pt harness did not save you. You are very lucky that it didn't kill you. Racing harnesses keep your body upright, and a collapsing roof will compress your spine.

Remember people:

No racing harnesses without a cage and a harness bar!!
