The day has come finally.... I need to take apart my engine cause my engine is misfiring due to fuel injectors are getting old.... so I was thinking about upgradind to bigger injectors and new fuel rail.... and some other stuff.... just wonderin what I should do to the engine while it is apart. Its a 1990 N/A with 45k on it..... please give me ideas of what to do... and what would be upgraded injectors from stock.

misfiring injectors on a 45k mile car!? that seem very odd!? how are your injector connectors? and the coil pack connectors? these are common problems, and unless your getting low compression I see no reasn to open up the motor, as for injector upgrades, if your not adding a turbo there is no real reason to upgrade injecotrs, and if you upsize the injectors without a propperly remapped ECU you'r gonna be running rich
