:help got my new heater core...just in time it's cold at night. well yesterday i went out and was trying to instal it when i realized i didn't know what i was doing. i removed the glove box and the panel from under the steering wheel but that's as far as i got. i have no idea how to take apart the rest of the dash...any help would be greatly appreciated. :spam

Drop the steering column, remove the gauge cluster, remove center trim, defrost vents, kick panel trim, stereo, and climate control. There are 2-3 bolts near the gauge assy, one on each side, and some bolts under the defrost vents, remove them. If all the bolts have been removed the dash will come right out. It will take some tweaking to get it out of the car. Good luck.

well i replaced the heater core still don't know if it works but i did...took me 6 hours to do it but that's cuz i didn't realy have any help and i didn't know what i was doing...thanks for the help :spam

did you bleed the cooling system propelry you may have air trapped in your heater core.

search nazzi mode ON... been discussed many times

air bleed valve open/ top off coolant/ good to keep an incline on the vehicle so the high point is the radiator/close radiator cap/idle engine w/ HEAT on full blast <so coolant can ciruclate into the heater core...etc etc

that was a nice link. yeah i'm about to go bleed the system now...it's snowing here and i have to take the car to the top of the hill or i'll never make it out later. it's goin to be nice not having to freeze on the way to work tonight...:spam
